Always greeted like a friend by one of the 3 guys that rotate on reception. Was put in the room I love (which they know I love) and as always had a really relaxing stay. Can’t recommend this place enough. If it’s one night for business or you’re in London for a week on holiday, the Glendale is 5 minutes from Paddington station where you can get to anywhere in London. One last thing I’ll add is the location is slightly away from all the other hotels in Paddington so you get a benefit of it being quieter but still just as convenient

While definitely not a luxury hotel, this place has several points to recommend it: - Good location. 5 minute walk to Paddington Station, 7 minutes to Lancaster Gate underground, close to Hyde Park. Plenty of food places close by. - It’s clean - Friendly staff - Mini fridge in the room so you can buy food for snacks & breakfasts on your own to save money Some downsides: - It’s TINY. I know this is normal, but this is really really tiny. I am a small single woman and had to leave my 1 suitcase in the walkway between the bathroom and the bed because the tent no room for it - The shower barely gets above lukewarm, even at the maximum knob level - No lift. Not a deal breaker, but difficult with suitcases and could pose accessibility issues for some as there are a lot of stairs. Not luxurious or super modern, but clean, comfortable, and a good location. I’d stay again!

It was great! We booked last minute, the same day, since our original hotel was catastrophic. The personnel was super kind and understanding, and provided us with all the help and recommendations that we would need. Everything was great! I really recommend this hotel! :)

I travel with work a lot and stay in central London a few times a week. This is the first place I try to book when I'm in London. I am always well looked after from the minute I arrive to the moment I leave. I genuinely don't have a negative word to say about it. From the value for money to the comfort of the beds all boxes are ticked. The location is walking distance to public transport which can get you anywhere in the capital which is another bonus. The staff are on the front desk 24/7 and are always happy to help. They even recommend amazing restaurants nearby if asked. My only issue with it is it gets booked up quickly and the next best places close by aren't in the Glendales league. London needs more hotels like this and more staff like these guys. It really is a good experience start to finish! VIVA LA GLENDALE!!
