It was very unfortunate experience. I come to Mexico every year, and I have to say this trip was the worst.the staff looked overwhelmed and overworked, therefore not willing to help. We had a nice room, but even that was ruined after we had big amount of cash stolen on a New years night, and the security could care less to help you. Definitely would not come back and don’t recommend anyone else going.

The rooms were damp and smelled mildew. Was preferred status, however, was not shared all of the preferred amenities. Finding your way around the property was problematic. No map was provided. The staff didn't seem like they were overly happy to have jobs. The traveling back-and-forth to the beach was challenging given the traffic. The resort can't do anything about that, need to be very clear about the transport back-and-forth being time consuming.

There were so many small bugs all over my Chanel and Dior bags and when I complain, they said we were leaving so the only thing that they could comped us with is one free night at our next stay there and we were so confused because I’m not sure what impression we gave that we would come back since that happened. There was no discount applied and honestly they did not care. They came and sprayed extremely strong chemicals and caused us to be late to the beach club so by the time we got there, the rain had started. It was terrible.

Our secrets tulum stay was wonderful. Booking excursions was easy and convenient without anyone being pushy. The transportation from and to hotel felt very safe as the Amstar staff was always available at the hotel. The resort staff was amazing. The staff concierge Marlen went above and beyond to meet our every request. She was very pleasant and quick to respond via text. She not only booked our reservations for restaurants but also followed up to ensure everything went well. The beach at zamna was private and beautiful. We loved it. We enjoyed the food and hospitality there as well. Our best time was at the Olio restaurant where we went 3 times because the whole staff from Sergio the server, Rene the manager to the Chef Gonzalo gave us an amazing experience. Chef Gonzalo made special meals only for us to meet our diet needs. Every single item he made was delicious. Our many thanks to the whole staff of secrets for making my wife’s birthday trip special.

Samara and Ariel from the entertainment team were incredible! We had so much fun at the late night events and the bike tour. The beach shuttle limited time spent at the beach and the service at the club was not great- often they ran out of bottled water, towels, they would take your order and never return and empty cups and dishes were always left out and not picked up. The dining on the resort was good but there were only 3 options to choose from with no buffet open for dinner. The rooms and grounds were brand new and always kept very clean.

Staff were awesome, views are incredible and the rooms are comfy and cleaned twice daily. Other than a few minor ware tear item from previous guest the rooms weee great. Stayed in Casa Zamna Master Suit with ocean front view, it is, “WELL WORTH IT!!!” Slept with the French doors opened and the screens shut, great idea lovely ocean sounds and great breeze. Had ceiling fan on as-well, no need to worry about insects getting in. Fridge stocked with beer, sodas and water no spirits. Get spirits with room service. Room service is all day, restaurants are not. Two restaurant areas with your stay on beach. Main resort has three restaurant and buffet style cafeteria for breakfast lunch and dinner. FYI, Shuttle times differ on weekdays 1hr. to weekends 30min. from Main Resort to Zamna Resort. All I can tell you is, if you’re contemplating a stay here stop, just do it!!! It’s worth it!!!!
