Refugee Residence Hotel
The suite was a nice size and clean. Staff were very nice and helpful. This location seemingly houses several refugee families which gives it a more residential vibe. Hot breakfast was normal but very crowded with all the refugee families. The suite we had on the top floor took 3-4 minutes to get hot water to all the faucets. Clearly the recirc system was not working. Not a big deal but inconvenience if in a hurry and quite a waste of water. Maintenance tech did nothing about the hot water.

When I checked in and got to my floor there was a stench coming from close to the elevators. It seemed like something fell on the carpet but the carpet was not cleaned properly. I waited to see if anything would be done about the terrible smell but a week passed and the smell remained. The rooms are not sound proof and there was noise from across my room with a group of young kids who didn’t seem to sleep and were up screaming and carrying on at all hours of the night. Housekeeping didn’t come to clean everyday. Customer service was average. I would rate the hotel overall as average.

This is totally get you paid for hotel. It’s fine - clean with dated decor, older fixtures. Staff is friendly but everything is slow and basic. Pool is tiny but still nice to have. Good for a family and stopover.
