We (4 of us) stayed at the Mulberry for one night in early September. It was accessed easily from JFK via the AirTrain and the subway to Canal Street. The Hotel was a bit difficult to find, but we managed. It is located where Chinatown and Little Italy, in lower Manhattan, come together. There were many eating places nearby, the walks to Seaport, the Oculus, 911 Museum, Brooklyn Bridge, were all easy and flat. We chose this hotel because of this location. It was pricey on a Friday night when many events were happening in New York. The best part of staying at the Mulberry was the location across from a neighborhood park. We felt as if we were part of the neighborhood, and really enjoyed that experience. Overall, we all agreed that we would stay at the Mulberry Hotel again, to experience the uniqueness of location. The hotel itself was basic, with a minimalist lobby. Hope this review helps others to decide.

This hotel location is perfect to immerse yourself in local New York City. We got the room with a balcony that has a city view. Totally worth it to get this room. Great price for what you get. The room was clean and comfortable. You are basically in Chinatown, right across from Columbus Park. Getting the subway from our hotel was super easy as well. The staff was friendly and cleaning staff was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel is in excellent Location. Within walking distance to the Little Italy, Chinatown, and downtown Courthouse area. Room is clean, staff is friendly, parking garage is few steps away. This hotel is next to Italy town and China town in NY. Great location to walk to these locations daily. This hotel is smaller than other chain hotels and older but clean. They do not have public restrooms on the lobby floor . The 2 bedrooms were divided nicely to have privacy if traveling with 2 couples. I would stay here again.
