Perfect location, right in the centre. Apartment was lovely and clean. The triple room was definitely worth it. Staff were lovely. Brilliant value for money. Due to it being in the centre and Madrid's nightlife being epic there is a lot of noise outside so I took another reviewers advice and got ear plugs and they worked a treat as I'm a light sleeper.

checkin was rocky. host must meet at front door to let in, did not respond at first. expedia customer service contacted. once met, very friendly, gave personal contact number. room is small, tidy, climate controlled. shared nathroom not an issue. good shower plenty of hot water. location is fantastic. las huertas lively day and night. will stay there again next time if i visit madrid again.

Stayed at Rooms Ángel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The shared bathroom was not clearly specified during the reservation, the cleanliness was poor, and there was only a mop and bucket to dry the floor after showering. Our room was never cleaned during the stay, and overall it did not feel comfortable or suitable for couples. I would not recommend it for a relaxing stay in Madrid.

I do not recommend this property to others mainly due to the lack of communication from the host. When you arrive at the property, expect to wait 1.5-2 hours for the host to even arrive to let you in. They will pretend as if this is normal behavior so there’s no apologies or explanation. If you happen to lose your keys, you will be a homeless person for the night (speaking from personal experience) and again they offer no explanation or apologies & pretend as if that’s a normal occurrence. Overall, there’s other places to stay where the host is more attentive, communicative, and reasonable. Take your business elsewhere, they don’t deserve it

Good for a short stay

The room was really stuffy and there’s no natural light. It’s okay if you just need a place to sleep, it’s clean. The toilet is busy, I think there was only one toilet for 4 rooms. Also, there was a little hiccup in my checkin where the host didn’t respond for a while.. I waited a while before I could checkin, hotels.com helped me to communicate. No aircon, only a fan. Well, to start with, I had to wait until someone arrived to open the door for us, as we couldn't get in until the person showed up to hand over the key. Afterward, they simply showed us the room, and that was it. I honestly didn't like the room at all; it was just a box—there was absolutely no ventilation. There was also a sign stating that there was a €10 charge to use the air conditioning and another €10 to use the laundry facilities. While I understand charging for laundry, I think it’s really poor form to charge extra for air conditioning when you’re already paying for the room itself. The listing on the app didn't mention that I would have to share the bathroom with other people; having to step out of my room to use a shared bathroom felt very uncomfortable and unpleasant to me, as I’m not accustomed to sharing facilities. I also had to share the refrigerator with other guests. I had bought some items and kept them in the fridge, but the day before I left, my things—including some souvenirs I had picked up during my sightseeing—had disappeared. I found this extremely unpleasant as well. I contacted the property managers, but they simply offered their apologies, and that was the end of it. Honestly, I didn't enjoy my stay at this place in the slightest, and I do not recommend it. Given the nightly rate they charge, I feel I could have stayed in a proper hotel—paying just another $20 or $30 more—and had a much better experience than I did here. This place felt more like a

En la reserva no informan claramente que cobran por todo: por late check-out, diarios por el aire acondicionado y por guardar las maletas, finalmente salió más caro que algún otro hotel. Además, nunca contestaron cuando intentamos contactarlos. Trato muy grosero y poco respetuoso, especialmente con nosotros por ser mexicanos. Nada recomendable.

De bör ha ngn som kan kommunicera på engelska effektivt och tydligt om hur man ska träffas och få sin nyckel. Nu meddelade vi när vi ville komma. De sa ok och sedan höllde på att ringa oss hela tiden men de kunde ingen engelska fast vi var tydliga med att vi inte kunde spanska. Tog mycket onödig tid och energi.
