Aug 17, 2022I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I stayed for a week and it was nice to come back "home" after a long day exploring London. The room was very comfortable and clean and had everything I needed. The staff were are all very friendly and helpful. The location was great, right next to the DLR which takes you right into the heart of London in just 15-20 minutes. The neighbourhood was lovely, colourful and vibrant. The coop grocery store next door is very convenient too. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Jul 1, 2022This was just what I was looking for--a great long-stay option with a kitchen and good transportation options close by. The kitchenette had a sink, fridge, microwave, cooktop, and a dishwasher. And there was air con, which was much-needed since June 2022 was brutally hot and A/C in London is hard to come by. There are also laundry facilities on site (in the main bldg) which was helpful. It is located right next to Deptford Bridge DLR station (and close to Deptford and New Cross Train stations) and there was a bus stop that was right out front that allowed me to get to central London easily. There are a number of small grocery stores close by too (Co-Op, Tesco Express, Asda), but large supermarkets are pretty close via the bus, and there are a lots of shops just a couple of DLR stops away at Greenwich or Canary Wharf (also a lot of restaurants).
I felt really safe and it was very quiet, even though it was close to a busy road and to a light rail station. The staff was friendly and helpful; I mostly wanted to be left to my own devices, and they respected that. When I needed something, they provided it. The only slightly annoying thing was that the primary way to interact is via a Whatsapp group, and I am not a smart phone user (yes, there are still a few of us). For most people, I imagine this would not be a problem (and it wasn't much of an issue for me either). I would definitely stay again. It was exactly what I needed when I needed it.

Algo justo de espacio habitable. El frigorífico no enfriaba demasiado. La ducha, regular. El personal, muy amable. En cuanto a la zona, algo alejada y poco bonita, si bien tenía muy buenas comunicaciones tanto por autobús como por overground.

My husband an I are avid travelers but 1st visit to London! What can I say..the staff was AMAZING and VERY accommodating! Always available to assist with any questions and had a great since of humor ..Adele!! Location was EXCELLENT and centrally located. Bus/train/groceries/diverse great priced restaurants right outside the door. Our Oyster card took us EVERYWHERE!! So glad I chose this StayCity location and can't wait to come back. (Friendly relaxed local bar AJAA with daily radio DJs) Same place next year!!

Mar 14, 2020Beim Check-in wurde uns ein Zimmer im 5. Stock zugewiesen. Dort angekommen, stellten wir fest, dass der Strom nicht funktionierte und das Hotelkartenlesegerät kaputt ist (die Halterung war abgefallen). Also gingen wir erneut zur Rezeption und verlangten nach einem anderen Zimmer, diesmal im 2. Stock. Hier ging zwar der Strom, es gab allerdings nur ein sehr kleines Fenster, man kam sich ein bisschen wie in einer Zelle vor. Die Sauberkeit lies zu wünschen übrig. Teilweise war sehr viel Staub auf den Oberflächen, neben dem Bett lagen 2 Tabletten (vom vorherigen Gast?..), Türklinken fühlten sich schmierig an, usw. Da wie keine Lust hatten nochmals nach einem neuen Zimmer zu fragen und Angst hatten, dass wir wohl möglich ein noch schlechteres Zimmer bekommen, blieben wir.
Beim Check-in wurde zusätzlich angekündigt, dass ein mal pro Woche geputzt wird (Wir blieben von Samstag-Freitag). Da dies bis zum Mittwoch noch nicht passierte, fragten wir morgens an der Rezeption nach. Hier wurde uns zugesichert, dass unser Zimmer noch an selben Tag gereinigt wird. Am nächsten Tag war der Herr nicht mehr da und niemand wusste etwas davon. Zumindest konnten sie uns frische Handtücher und einen Bettbezug geben, so dass wir und selber drum kümmern konnten.
Würden wir keinem weiter empfehlen.

Ich buche regelmässig Aufenthalte bei Staycity. Ich schätze Deptford Bridge aufgrund des inbegriffenen Gyms. Sauberkeit etc: Alles in Ordnung - wie immer. Ich schätze die Kitchenette. Einziges Manko: Der Stepper im Gym war defekt und wurde ersatzlos entfernt. Ansonsten kann ich Staycity @ Deptford Bridge nur empfehlen.

Great for a family of four, right next to DLR and only two stops (three minutes) from Cutty Sark. Sofabed converts to two singles side by side for the kids and we had a separate bedroom. Have stayed with Staycity at other locations and will definitely use again.

Maybe front desk service needs improvement as it is disappointing to be chased at 9am to settle the payment for the next night.

Vi valgte Staycity som alternativ til hotel, da vi gerne ville have adgang til et køkken de tre dage vi var i London. Hjælpsom personale når der fx skulle fremskaffes en proptrækker. Værelset var lille (men det er meget normalt i London) Bad fint og det gik lige at kunne lave et let måltid i køkkenet med de få køkkenting der var adgang til. Der ligger et Coop supermarked lige om hjørnet og Greenwich park og seværdigheder ligger i gå afstand fra Staycity. Alt i alt et fint ophold.

Good location for Greenwich, easy to reach west end by public transport.
Excellent check in, great customer service. Requested a quiet room and was given one.
Studio was clean, functional, a little tired and Spartan. Fine for a weekend stay.
Book early if possible to obtain a discounted rate.
Complimentary late check out on Sunday was appreciated!

Although transport is available (DLR or BUS) it is located too far from London Center (count on not less than 45m).
The room and WC are modern and comfortable.
There are two folding chairs and a folding table that when armed take all the avilable spcae. Therefore the room is too small for preparing food or eating.
During our 4 days stay the room was not cleaned.
The Gym is good.

We were here for 4 night to which you are told at reception at check in you need to ask for clean towels and no cleaner will come into your room bins etc won’t be emptied which I was like that’s fine. When we got to the room the sink in the kitchen looked like someone had thrown out there coffee without rinsing it away and it had dried in! The shower smelt like a damp cloth or smelly mop. The tiles in the shower had mildew on them and black grout as you could see the original clean tile on the outside of the shower. The kitchen felt tacky like last person used a lot of oil to cook and hadn’t been cleaned properly the mugs had coffee rings on them. Overall it wasn’t the cleanest asked for clean towels on day 2 they never appeared. Apart from that right beside DLR. some of the pictures on the here are actually from there greenwhich location and not this one.

Fast check in and room upgrade which gave us more space. Staff excellent and responsive; we didn't have many questions but needed towels including a loan on the final day to go swimming in Deptford Bridge. Excellent value for money and great position next to Deptford Bridge DLR

Nice hotel, nice staff. easy to get to. Studio room much smaller than expected and the fridge is right next to the bed and is noisy. Also some weird whoosing sounds coming from somewhere that happened frequently. Only one pillow is given per person, so had to ask for another and it took three attempts to get them Overall, a nice stay in a good location.
