The room was fantastic, beautifully decorated and super clean. The location is great, and I appreciated the cucumber sandwiches on arrival. The bed was a bit springy and it was noisey outside but not much the hotel could do about that. I really enjoyed my stay and thought it was great value for money. I’m staying again tonight.

Second time was even better than the first. I had a beautiful room with leaves on the roof, had lovely messages from the concierge Peter before arrival who was super helpful and very responsive. The bed in this room was way more comfortable and I appreciated the treats in the mini bar. It’s be best hotel I’ve stayed in near Kings Cross by far and now my go-to. I also found a tray with a pot of tea and a lovely hand written note in the morning, it was such a lovely thought and personal touch.

The room is very small and it does not provide AC. The neighborhood can be noisy so leaving windows open at night means lots of disruptive noise while trying to sleep. Peter at check in was very helpful, courteous, and professional. He did his best to try and make our stay the best he could, but the room was very dusty, hot, noisy, and small.

Staff were lovely, communication was consistent with those who were working and available to help. Only downfall is that being the building it is, it's very uncomfortable in warmer weather. Double room is a small double with a small shower so be mindful that 2 people together would be living on top of eachother. Would happily return as a solo traveller!

Quirky, unique property with lots of room options, super comfy beds. Rooms are small (some are very small) but the location in Kings Cross means easy access to everything- no need to hang out at the hotel. The service is awesome. Everyone we spoke to went out of their way to be helpful. We especially enjoyed our chat with Peter who hosted us for happy hour.

Absolutely lovely hotel and such friendly and helpful staff, it was excellent to stay there the night before an early eurostar train. The bed was so comfy and the little touches like a sandwich left in the room and a little pot of jam were so sweet. I'm literally only taking a star away because as a woman staying there overnight by myself, I didn't like that there wasn't a lock on the room side of the door, only a keypad lock on the outside, I ended up wedging a chair infront of the door and then had a brilliant night's sleep but it was a concern. Something that could be easily corrected though and then the hotel would easily be a 5* stay!
