The room itself was clean, the bed was comfy, there was a little bit of a damp smell which they do the best to cover up with strange little windows to the hallway and fans constantly on, the bathroom toilet downstairs stunk, I’ve stayed here before and left the same review, it needs fixing, the shower upstairs was fine but could do with a makeover. Generally alright for a night stay but wouldn’t stay longer next time, Bethnal Green itself is fine, good transport, shops and food

I'd consider staying here again, if the price went down to like £1,- . The sheets and towels were clean. The rest of the hotel I would want to touch without a glove. The windows are so thin that even EVs passing outside kept me awake.

The property was very clean. The beds very comfortable I had a room with an en suite. The building was very secure and asked for ID at the 24 hour manned reception desk. I was a lone female traveler and I felt very safe the whole time. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The stairs up to the first floor were filthy, the tv remote control was void of any batteries the tiny toilet and shower was down the corridor and was generally in poor condition. I appreciate it was a very good price (around £50) but you should still expect a reasonable amount of cleanliness. I will say the room was warm and the bedding was clean but the walls were so thin the person in the next room was snoring so loud it woke me up a few times.

PLEASE AVOID STAYING HERE!!! Where To Start The Place was COMPLETELY FALSELY ADVERTISED!! All Amenities That Was Said To Be In The Room Wasn’t e.g kettle, mugs, tea coffee Hairdryer Duvet didn’t feel or appear clean. Found The Receptionist Asleep Multiple Times When Needed Help Or Needing To Ask Questions. Highly Unprofessional. Also Stated That Breakfast Was Meant To Be Served For An Extra £10. It turned out that breakfast didn’t in fact exist. So we would highly NOT Recommend Stay Here If You Want Everything That Is Being Advertised On the Website. Furthermore I Will Be Reporting This So Called Apparent Hotel To Trading Standers.

Could be cheaper, but that's the real conditions

I have been in this hostel/hotel for 4 days. First 2 days was booked by 113£ and last 2 days was booked by 78£ on web, but receptionist has charge 113£ to me. To be honest for this price I expected better conditions. The room is too small, without bathroom isolated bathroom inside. Sharing bathroom means that you could find a dirty things when you need use it. Most time i needed push the water botton because a guest didn't pushed it after do pee. Cross the hallway from bathroom to the room doesn't feel nice after you had a shower, Unless you put on your clothes inside the small, steamy bathroom, and shower to feel sweaty again. The staff are serious, diligent, and polite. They offer to change the sheets if you need it. On night the guests are f...king that's ok, but on streets the people do much noises and the sound of the police car will drill your brain often. Finally you must to know that there is a mosque very close, but the citiziens respect each other, all them are workers.

The hallway and room carpet were so disgusting we never took our socks off. the Shower looked broken with rusted showed head on floor so we feared getting a disease (and I always shower after a flight). the description and photos online were false. the room smelled like smokers. we would have left but it was nearly midnight when we got in. awful that said, night clerk was very nice and tried hard

This was honestly the worst hotel I have ever experienced. I was filthy, my bedroom door didn’t lock, I’m pretty sure this hotel is used by sex workers. I genuinely felt unsafe. Don’t stay here, if you’re really strapped for cash there’s a hostel just up the road - this would have been preferable.
