Had a 1 bedroom apt with a full kitchen. There is a market downstairs where you can buy coffee, snacks, soda, etc. Great location, friendly staff, easy to get in and out. Would stay there again.

Really enjoyed my stay at Marlin Aldgate and would happily return. The location is excellent — close to supermarkets, takeaways, transport links, and a great area to wander around. The room on a high floor was spacious and matched the description, with lovely city views that made evening TV optional. A few cleanliness issues were noticeable: the fridge had an unpleasant smell and there were a couple of small bugs, and the bedroom windows didn’t open, which may matter for anyone who prefers fresh air overnight. The sofa bed, when used as a sofa, wasn’t the most comfortable, but using a pillow made evenings much better. The apartment is fully equipped for self‑catering, though bringing a tea towel and some kitchen roll would be helpful. Wine glasses were smaller than expected, which meant more frequent trips to the fridge. Staff were pleasant whenever we interacted with them. There’s no luggage storage available before or after check‑in, but there are convenient options nearby. Overall, a very good stay and I would definitely recommend it.

The room was good, and the location is very convenient. The only complaint we had was about extras: there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper at the time, so we had to keep asking for more; the toiletries were insufficient for the whole stay, and the hotel doesn't have a luggage room. We think these things are easy and cheap to provide and would make the stay way more enjoyable.

Our 1 bedroom apartment was ideal, ample space for 3 adults. Trip was to visit our son in London and he was able to stay with us, making our trip even more special. Very clean and comfortable, well equipped. Fantastic location, close to Tower Bridge and tube. Would definitely recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in London. One of the biggest advantages was its location, as it was close to the subway and made it easy to get around the city without relying on taxis or other transportation. The neighborhood itself was a bit rough around the edges and felt dirtier than we expected. That said, we found that many parts of London seemed similar unless you stay in the more upscale areas, where hotel prices are significantly higher. The hotel was a great value for the price we paid. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the property was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Our room was well-maintained and provided everything we needed for a pleasant visit. Overall, this was a very nice place for the money, especially considering its convenient location. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to travelers looking for a good-value hotel in London.

Check out at 10:30am? if not extra charge!! Never again in this hotel. You almost need to set the alarm and not rest as you wanted due to this! Very old furniture. Besides no air conditioning with London at 36 degrees, was impossible to sleep even with all windows opened. The good point was the service and people at the reception, very kind I understand is not their decission.

Smells of Cannabis! Do Not Bring Your Family Here ​"I booked this property for my family, trusting the good reviews I’d read. It was a huge mistake. The arrival was completely 'bog standard', but things quickly got worse. There was a faint smell of cannabis in the lift, which turned into an incredibly strong, overpowering stench once we reached our floor and opened our room. ​We knew immediately this was no place for our two children. I went straight back to reception to check out early. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern, the staff just said 'ok,' took the keys, and offered absolutely no empathy. The reviews are far from the truth. Avoid this place if you are traveling with children!"
