Perfect Thanksgiving Stay
I came up to Saratoga Springs with my wife and 2 year old dachshund for Thanksgiving. The Adelphi is a lovely newly renovated hotel that is very dog friendly. We lived our room and how welcome they made the three of us feel. They included and plush comfy dog bed and bowls in our room, with plenty of treats each time we walked in. The hotel is perfectly located in the main street, very close to a large park where we walked every morning. We loved our stay.

We were extremely surprised and grateful for the upgrade… The staff, from reception, to valets, to bar area, we amazing! They all went out of their way to make us feel like honored guests…the valets even remembered our names! Outstanding service, and outstanding hotel. As it turned out, our room was just above the bar. It was very loud in the afternoon, evening and morning. We were told the hotel was sold out, they were very sorry there was nothing they could do to help us. Clearly they know this room is a a problem for the guest who gets that room. On top of that, Hotel staff congregated outside our room and were unaware of the hotel acoustics. They needed to be told to lower their voices. Our bed felt like a big marshmallow, we sunk to the middle of the bed. And eventually resorted to sleeping in separate beds. Our TV remote did not work, the evening engineer was very nice but it took him two trips a 5 remotes to fix the problem at 11p... they clearly chose to put their budget into the bathrooms that were nice and the staff all tried to be nice. tried to be nice However- The hotel was a real disappointment. For the prices they charge for a room, they need to get it all to work and it does not.

The Adelphi Hotel is a gem. Every inch of the place is beautiful. The views from the Broadway room were the best. The food was delicious. We especially liked the outdoor dining options. The room was clean. We loved the complimentary chips, treats and drinks. We cannot wait to go back.
