Ideally situated hotel in the middle of manhattan. Rooms are simple bed sink hob microwave tv. Ideal if you are really only using it as a base . Each floor has a shared bathroom which is clean with two showers one cubicle. My personal rating on experience and room is 7/10

I did not stay at this hotel even for one night. We had booked for four nights, and the manager took my money without providing a proper room. I was never informed that the bathroom would be shared. The front desk staff told me they could give me a room with a private bathroom, but the room they showed me was like a prison. The bed was made of iron, there was no bathroom, and the room was extremely small (about 5 ft by 10 ft). It was the worst room I have ever seen in my life. When I refused the room and asked for a refund, the manager refused to return my money and caused me to lose even more money after that. This experience was unfair, dishonest, and very disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

We have stayed at this building two times before this trip, and have always loved the location & accommodations. However, this particular room was our least favorite by far. The room had decent space for NYC, but it had the least amenities of any room we've stayed in, at this same building, before. We were told we could not have additional towels solely based on booking through Hotels.com, no wash cloths or extra garbage bags were provided. The TV offered basic cable & wifi was an upcharge. Every other room we have chosen offered housekeeping, Roku TVs, wifi, & all linens.

If your looking for cheap and close to everything this is the one for you; BUT Very small rooms and ac doesn't work great but gets the job done on hot days. Also the shared bathroom is like a campground bathroom two stall that are showers then two stalls that are regular stalls with toilets either way would stay again
