The room we had shouldn’t be rented out
Honestly, my experience wasn’t terrible by any means. The room was clean and spacious and the location of the hotel was on Banff ave but not too close to the busy spots which was nice, but I’m extremely disappointed with the location of our room. We were in a room that was basically in the lobby of the hotel. When you came up from the parkade the room was immediately next to the stairs. In addition to being next to 3 exits and the elevator. It was the only room in that area and holy it was noisy. It sounded like everyone that came into the hotel was inside our room. I couldn’t get to sleep until about 2am and we almost left the hotel because of it but we were too tired to drive. Then we were woken up at 7am by people in their ski boots walking passed our room and smacking their skis on our door and some sort of truck or something backing up outside our window in their back alley.
We also stayed in Banff instead of Canmore (which would have been significantly cheaper) because of the ice sculpture tickets we were suppose to get by staying in Banff but when I inquired about them I was given 0 information about them.
Not super impressed with this place and likely won’t return so as not to risk being in that room again.

Good location and the room was in decent shape. Looks like they have done a somewhat recent update to them. I appreciated the parking and free public transit access. Staff were helpful. If you like a soft bed, this place is for you.

Hotel was clean, cars are able to park underground but if you have a truck they don't fit (parking is still available above ground for those) The room did what we needed, which was provide a place to sleep at night, we did not spend much time in the room other than that. My only complaint is the hallway was extremely hot and the rooms were warm and very dry as well.

Great Value
At first we were a bit hesitant of our room placement but it ended up being fairly quiet (except for the early morning shoveling/people scraping their windows). The value was good for what we got. Bed was decent, hot tub unfortunately wasn’t very hot. Walkable location.

This was a great property. It is very overpriced in the summer, but super reasonably priced in November. The only thing is that when you arrive you have to pay an additional 50$ to what you agreed to pay on Expedia. So my room ended up being more expensive than I planned. I wish they were more transparent about that when you book that there will be additional fees.
