Terrific location near the Empire State Building and smack in the middle of Koreatown (if you are looking for a peaceful neighborhood, this is not it). Rooms are small, as of most NYC hotels of this price range, but comfortable. Don't always have front desk manned and lobby is not charming. Elevators worn. But a pleasant place

I have been to NYC more times than I count and this has to be the biggest hotel room I’ve stayed in. For NYC standards I was very impressed. I also couldn’t believe how quiet it was at nights, not one sound from the street. Very central and within walking distance to all the major spots. The property is pretty much as described, except for “the restaurant”. This isn’t part of the hotel but rather just a restaurant next door. We travelled with two young children and this will be my first choice for future trips.

Great location to get anywhere in Manhattan, lovely shopping and restaurants all very close. It is loud on the street because you’re in the midst of midtown Manhattan in KoreaTown but the hustle and bustle is part of the NYC experience.

Lovely for weekend trip
Check in was super easy. We arrived early and were greeted by a very friendly gentleman. He allowed us to check in early which was lovely. Our room was a good size and beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. Enjoyable trip and hotel was convenient walk to Times Square which worked for us.

Great for business trip!
I loved the location! would definitely stay here again for business. The property is a little dated, and the toiletries are not great, but it was within budget, and I brought my own toiletries. The one complaint is the walls are extremely thin. Got woken up by my neighbors showering, a colicky baby, and people coming back from the bars. I'm an ok sleeper, it was a bit annoying, but still a solid 4 stars for a biz trip.

Dumpy
Lobby was nice, smooth check in process. Elevators are super slow. The staff uses them to move linens and towels too, so that's inconvenient. My room was super old and worn down. Carpet was frayed, curtains were old, the bed was sunken in and uncomfortable, the toilet never stopped running, and the bathroom door was super inconveniently placed. Also, i had to request a do not disturb sign. While ive stayed in worse places, they didnt cost $500/night.

How old are these other reviews?!
I booked 7 rooms. 5 of which were for an account. Due to short notice, our options in NY were limited. Reviews looked good. One room a/c was broken and the person at the front desk wouldn’t find a new room so that person slept in one of the other guests room. There was hair all over the bathroom in another room. One of the tubs were clogged. It was dirty and old and service was rude. Do not believe positive reviews. Photos are deceiving.
