Fabulous place...once you find it! There is a problem with Google and Apple maps and neither will navigate to to the main entrance, but only the general area (within 300-400 yards). If coming at night, you may have difficulty locating this (I spend 1 hour, including knocking on doors!). The owners are lovely and noted that a more prominent sign was being installed...but plan ahead anyway if you arrive at night.

Oh my! Where do I start? What a rare gem of a find this place was. Etna and Henry are the most gracious, warm and welcoming hosts one can think of. And the place itself is pure magic. We absolutely loved every single minute we spent in this beautiful place. And with all the serenity that it offers and the lush natural green surrounding village, it is only a half an hour train ride away from the madness that is London. There is no other place that I would rather stay in the next time I make it to England, period.

Beautiful
Truly special place to stay , as soon as you pull in the splendor of it is evident. The exceptional service was as much about having everything you could need as was the enthusiasm from the lovely couple who own it. A very special please very happy that I found Tabsfield ,will most definitely stay again .

Don’t think I have ever stayed in such a warm and welcoming place. Felt at home immediately, the owners are just lovely and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Didn’t want to leave. Will definitely use again.

B&B that feels like home
Our weekend stay at Tabsfield was like staying with family or friends. The couple that owns the B&B goes put of their way making you feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious with private baths. The entire home and grounds are beautiful. It was their family home for 30 years ..they now welcome guests into their home to enjoy. Within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, and park. A charming area and a lovely B&B. Would always stay here when traveling in the area.

Alles bestens!
Absolut ruhige Lage und trotzdem sehr zentral und verkehrsgünstig. Die Gastgeber sind ein äußerst nettes Ehepaar - Ethna und Henry. Das Frühstück besteht aus einem kleinen Buffet mit Müsli, Obstsalat, Butter, Marmelade, Honig, Joghurt, versch. Säften und Milch. Außerdem wird ein englisches Frühstück nach Wunsch ganz frisch zubereitet: Rührei; Spiegelei, Bacon, Würstchen, Beans und Toast. Der "Speisesaal" hat Wohnzimmercharakter und ist typisch englisch eingerichtet. Da die Unterkunft nur 7 Zimmer hat, sind nicht viele Gäste auf einmal da. Meistens waren wir alleine im Frühstücksraum. Es gibt nur drei Tische und während des Frühstücks kann man sich, wenn man möchte, lebhaft mit Ethna und Henry unterhalten. Alles ist sehr familiär und Ethna und Henry sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten die Suite im seitlichen Anbau. Sehr ruhig gelegen und großzügig geschnitten. Die Sitzgelegenheiten / Liegestühle im Garten konnten wir jederzeit nutzen.

Wonderfully relaxing stay in a charming property
Nestled in rural Kent, Tabsfield is a charming B&B in a stunning property. So much effort has been put into the finish touches and details. The suite in which we stayed had everything we could need. The original 1890's bath is particularly pleasing. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly, and willing to help you navigate the local area and culinary scene. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Lovely beautiful family run B&B. A great welcome and felt looked after. Stayed in the cottage which is lovely but bathroom could do with some TLC for the price hence 4 not 5 marks for the facilities but would stay again.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast... but far more
The fact that I start this review by referencing "Henry and Ethna" by name tells you a lot about this wonderful establishment. Beautiful estate, wonderful room, true homemade and awesome breakfast. But that doesn't do this justice. Ethna, wonderful and charming, English woman helped us plan our day in London and based on her advice dramatically improved our day. Henry drove us to the train station in the morning... and to dinner. They literally stayed up to make sure we got "home" safely. I feel that I now have friends in England. I'd go back just to visit them. Best Bed and Breakfast experience I've ever had.

Such a beautiful place, great find
The host were great, so friendly. As it was my wedding that weekend, they did everything to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The cottage we stayed in was fab.. Such a cute place. Had your own space and everything you would ever need, even filled up the cookie jar. so sweet. Love to book again when less rushed, due to the wedding.
