At check in the front desk lady could not check me in properly (I booked through Expedia). As she was trying to fix the problem, and as a line started to form behind me, she kept saying she needed to talk to her manager to check me in, but fortunately she gave me a room key so my son and I could rest in our room. Later in the evening she told me she discussed the check in issue with her manager and it was just her inexperience with the check-in system that was the issue.
The cons of the hotel were: (i) too expensive for a very average hotel/motel without a pool; (ii) breakfast was very limited to bagels, bread and waffles you had to make yourself; (iii) the coffee dispenser was not preset to the cups on hand so we ended up with overflowing cups; and (iv) the nearest strip mall with dining options was a 7-minute drive away. I won't be staying in this hotel/motel again.
