The best bargain in NYC. The perfect place for a single traveling solo mentee. The room was comfortable. It had everything one needs. Outstanding, congenial, and helpful staff. Loved the roof deck. The location is great. TJ’s 15 minute walk. I had a corner room on the top floor (14th) but really the 13th. Oh the superstition. Nice views, plenty of light, not too noisy. Across from the hotel is a synagogue with a beautiful park, sitting area and a WATERFALL! I’d stay there again.

The pod is a minimalistic stay. It works for a lone traveler (as I was). The shared bathrooms were mostly clean (but maybe a little rundown). Traveling with a spouse or partner the shared bath might be more problematic, but I would recommend for someone traveling alone who’s just looking for a place to sleep. The location is Excellent. Two blocks from the subway 6, E, and F with easy access to LaGuardia airport. Close the park and the East side museums - lots to do.
