This is an excellent place to stay for a quiet stop in Vancouver. Amazing location. Hotel is a little old fashion, but in a good way. But if you are looking for cookie cutter glamor, go elsewhere. Excellent restaurant, gracious staff.

Our plan was attend an afternoon play, have dinner and spend the night. When entering the hotel you are overwhelmed by a strong smell, much like an smell reduction spray like Fabreze. Our room was a 3 star room. Dirt/mold in floor corners in bathroom and tub/tile corners. Under sink where towels are stored had spider weds covered with dust above clean towels. Lighting in room very poor. Could not leave drapes open, the gym/hotub area could look directly in our room through the mirror onto our bed. There where no convenient wall plugs. Charged phone in bathroom. Coffee machine was terrible. Worst coffee in any hotel room. Should purchase $50 Kuregs. Would consider using this hotel again however....they will have to do better!!

Location & view is impeccable, service needs help.
The hotel is in a great location. We enjoyed the fact that we can just walk around and check out the various shops, kids market, public market. The walking path along the water is awesome. It's a perfect spot to vacation with family with kids. Lots of activities and beautiful views of the water and downtown Vancouver. You don't really have venture out of the community unless you're looking for something specific as pretty much everything is there. As far the hotel, it was okay. The decor is dated and our bed was too firm for our liking. We had a georgous view of the city which is stunning at night! My wife was on a wheelchair and we found it a little challenging to maneuver inside through the hallways and bedroom. The bedroom is not handicap accessible as we could not fit the wheelchair through the bathroom door. Our room was not fully ready. I had to call front desk to request hand soap for the bathroom. I also had requested 4 sets of towels in the pre-check in but the hotel failed to deliver. What's the point of asking your guests in the pre-checkin if there are any special accommodations needed when it's just going to being ignored? The restaurant served delicious food and the panaramic view of the water and downtown is breath taking. We forgot our to go order and the restaurant called us and delivered it to our room. I would stay again in the hotel, but I wish they made their rooms and bathrooms more wheelchair accessible.
