Hotel-older, sound travels, hard to sleep
The price for the time of year was excellent, the room itself was average. The problem was location of the room within the hotel. We could hear the activity at the front desk throughout the night. The staff was laughing and chatting and the sound carried and woke us up several times.

Ok stay in Banff
The location is great to walk around downtown and to restaurants. It definitely needs some updates; the rooms are showing wear and tear. Pillows are odd in that they are square and hard. Rooms are a tight fit for 2 adults. The heater would turn on and off all night, blowing in my face. Annoying.

Near the centre of everything
Great stop on a cross country trip. Room was clean and comfortable. A little ice machine noise from the hallway.

Meh!!!
They had us by the elevator and ice machine. Super loud all night. Everything in the room seemed a bit worn and the bed, sheets, and pillows were not comfortable. AC/Heater was loud and the air in the room was really dry.

The hotel's surroundings are relatively safe. Banff lacks restaurants and has a good tourism industry.
