My teenage son and I spent four nights at the resort. The room was nice and spacious but the service or lack thereof was completely disappointing for the price point. We dined onsite all four nights and found the caliber of the food to be very low (but portions very large). They have a steak house and an Asian restaurant but nothing that has any local flavour. Front desk support was terrible throughout our stay. It is a large resort but does not have enough staff onsite to keep up the property or service the guests. Seems to cater to large groups that have private events. I would give it a miss if staying on a personal holiday.

The hotel is beautiful; a large property with plenty of family activities.The location, directly on the ocean with the rainforest in the distance, was stunning! However, it is a $75 Uber ride from Old San Juan. It was difficult to get a decent meal, as the resort was crowded and without a prior reservation, you cannot get into the 2 nice restaurants. Nice place. Good pool/beach. Big room. Beautiful grounds. Would say food is pretty bad overall though. Would recommend eating off resort. Also the store they have is insanely overpriced. $60 for a tiny bottle of sunscreen and bugspray. And i paid like $60 for a plastic snorkel at the rentals booth bc i didnt ask the price first

Nice location,friendly employees
Great place to stay. My only issue is that the resort fee did not cover anything of value. It covered only 2 drinks ( for 7 night stay) and access to tennis courts, pool, and gym ( none of which we used). Would be better to cover self parking, continental breakfast, or baggage tips.

Had a great time at this hotel. Everything was clean and well maintained. Bedding was fresh. The food at the in resort restaurants and cafe are great eats. The pools were very clean. IMO, they need some spots with shade. Overall i recommend it for couples.

Do not trust the staff!
I went to drop my bags off for safe keeping before heading out for a hike at 11am. The bellman forgot me at the counter for 15m. Then apologized and to make up for it, told me my bags would be in my hotel room when I returned. I came at 5pm and my bags were sat out in the driveway unattended for 6 hours with the claim tags attached. They were never secured and they had all my valuables and travel documents in them. I’m lucky they weren’t stolen. When I spoke to the manager he said ‘sometimes when it’s busy we leave them outside for an hour but 6 hours is too long’. When a customer trusts you with their luggage no hours unattended is the right answer. Beautiful property otherwise!

I'd go back again. Wish it was a little closer to San Juan. Shuttle ran about $85 to and from airport. And $80 to San Juan. Uber was cheaper getting back to hotel. But great property. Loved it.

Loved how secluded the property was! Entire property was very well maintained, staff was extremely friendly and the dining options were great! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who asks! Will note that the property is about 35-45 minutes from all excursions, and taxis are pricey. However, the drivers we had, were very nice and very knowledgeable!
