Great place terrible beds
Amazing location. Very good for exploring Banff. Just by the Bow river and Castle mountain. However the beds were awful. Old and comfy at all. Got a terrible back pain afterwards.

Cute place with great cabins and beautiful view
Really huge suite in the larger lodge and decorated so nicely to really embody that cozy, mountain lodge feel. Views were incredible and it was set so far from the bustle of Banff, but close enough to access necessities, especially since the little storefront on-site had a number of decent essentials. Really great place, especially for the money. Customer service and front office staff went the extra mile and were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely will return again

Perfect nature escape
We have stayed here 3-4 times over past decade and the experience has always been great. Perfect place to just relax and get in touch with nature while having a cozy cabin with fireplace and full kitchen. Highly recommend.

Winter getaway
Great place for a relaxing getaway from the city. Kids were happy to slide the small hill in front of the parking and then to come back and stare at the fire. The cider chalet is small but cozy, we did not feel our small kids needed any more space. The kitchen is functional and if you don't need the microwave you can regain some space on the table. Honorable mention to the main building with ping pong, fussball table and board games.

It was a nice stay. But 2 thing you must to know: the place is near the railroad and every so often a train passes by and blows its horn day and night. It’s terrible. We stayed 3 nights and one time they change some towels but not cleaning the cabin at all.

Great location, easy day trips to many popular sites. Room was sufficient. Only downside was the pullout wasn’t the most comfortable and the trains close by are loud. But otherwise very happy with our stay. Front desk staff were very helpful.

Great location!
Our cabin was a great home base for exploring Banff, Yoho, and Lake Louise area. Bed was comfortable, water was hot, and location was peaceful. We loved the soap from Rocky Mountain Soap Company! Negatives: Shower dripped on the faucet and splashed on the floor while filling bathtub which was annoying. Also we had issues with the cleaning crew every day we were there. One day we came back and the trash had been tied up and left in the middle of the floor by the kitchen table. Another day, we came in and every light in the cabin was on (we had turned them all off). We came back another day and there were two big pieces of trash on the floor in the living area. We are assuming they fell out of the trash bags when being emptied. The final incident was when we came back at 4:30 pm and housekeeping had not been there yet. They knocked on the door at 5:00. We just handed our dirty towels out and asked for clean ones. Perhaps better training of the housekeeping crew would lead to a more efficient process.

Loved that you had Rocky Mountain soap products instead of cheap generic ones. The chalet was clean and cozy, front staff was very friendly.

Amazing property in the nature. Canadian Rail track is behind the cabins and passes at least once every hour with load honking including night time. Staff was good, facility is average. You can experience one time but not again. Honestly the property is not worth the price we paid for.
