I don't recommend double bed if you're traveling with a friend. That size can be acceptable for couple. I had to sleep on the floor since bed is so small and I traveled with my friend. But I appreciated the staff Christopher from the front desk and Eldar of housekeeping to provide us with extra floor liner, blankets and pillows so I can be comfortable

A perfect location

Location, location, location! It is a safe district, so I didn’t experience any dangerous situation while I was walking late after the show in the Broadway. It is a dated establishment but kept well. The room is spacious than I expected. The staff was efficient and very helpful. A good value.

Bed too small for a standard room

I booked a standard room and was an expecting a double bed but the bed is like 1 and half of single bed put together. The furnishings in the bed room are very old for the price they charge per night.

Incidental Charge not refunded and unsafe

I have contacted the hotel twice about the $150 incidentals charge that has not been refunded for my trip Feb 5. Also, a hotel employee attempted to enter my room without knocking for no purpose. I was terrified my entire stay. The hotel offered me 10% off which really isn’t acceptable. A woman traveling alone should not have to worry about strange men breaking into her room.

Lots of room, good beds, some minor upkeep needed

The room was very spacious - considerably spacious for a midtown hotel. The carpet was in ok condition. Beds were good. There are some minor upkeep-related items - the few pieces of furniture (particularly a table in the middle of the room) was worn. The faucet in the bathroom turned strangely. And also, the hotel would run out of hot water for showering very quickly.

Hotel 57 3 night stay

I was happy to find this hotel so close to my work location for a reasonable price. The room and furnishings were clean, albeit sparse. There are no drawers to put clothes in, but a large closet with shelves that I made work The bed was super comfortable. There is no live TV, but You tube TV was available and other streaming services and it was fine. Wish they had a Keurig. as the coffee pot was small and really not useful. Filtered water only on floor 12 and ice machines only on even numbered floors. Again not convenient, but easy enough to get to. The room looked like it had a touch up paint job. and you can see the workmanship was not the greatest. It could use a complete once over. And the elevator needs a complete inside cleaning. No excuse for lack of cleanliness no matter the age of the hotel. Other than those items, which some may find picky, The front desk people were kind and helpful. which is always a plus. I would stay again if given the opportunity,
