Nice neighbourhood, close to the mall
We had a good experience generally. The staff were nice. Convenient location, close to Mall/Metro and not far from the beach. The kids enjoyed the rooftop pool, which was clean and well maintained. Parking was a nice feature, as street has limited parking options. Good dining close by.

I haven't had a good time at this hotel.. The staff was friendly, that was it other than that nothing i have found great. the room is quite clean but the materials used have very strong smell that makes it annoying.

Ok hotel in a good neighborhood
Nice apartment hotel in a great part of town. The apartment was clean and the staff were very friendly. The only negative comment I have is when I arrived a bit early around 10 am, they couldn't check me in. I had to wait 3-4 hours for a room to become available. They tried to check me into one room but it was a smoking room. I explained to the receptionist that I can't stay in a smoking room because of my allergies and her attitude was"well I am trying to check in but because of your allergy you will have to wait" She wasn't very attentive and I explained to her, I'd rather wait than take the smoking room. Few hours later when I inquired if the room was ready and I explained to her that I had a 12 hours flight and been traveling for 16 hours, she said well we tried to accommodate you but have an allergy problem and you will have to wait. After that one indecent everything was ok but I wouldn't stay there again.

Excellent neighbourhood, okay hotel.
Location is great, supermarket, laundry, lots of restaurants nearby. Free parking as well. The hotel seems clean overall but small touches that weren't as clean; we asked for extra blankets and even though they came in a supposedly new clean laundry bag, they smelled used. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean overall, the living room sofa and curtains/kitchen didn't feel so clean. Also on one day the whole floor smelt like burning plastic and the smell went all the way into the room with no way of getting it out. Not sure what was happening there but there seemed to be some work ongoing. Overall it's a good hotel if you're not too fussy on small things. Less than 5 mins walk from mall of emirates.

Hotel stay at Avari Hotel Apartments
Overall this hotel is wonderful. It really met our needs as it had a washer machine and nice kitchen. Our family really enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi as well. The staff were excellent always willing to help us out. The cleaning staff were wonderful too always keeping our room really clean. A few recommendations for the staff is to have a dryer installed on top of the washer as that would have been nice to have as well as some wash cloths. Maybe it is an American thing but we do appreciate to wash ourselves with a wash cloth. Another nicety is to have a few spices and cooking oil already there so we don't have to find a grocery store right away. This was suggested by my wife. Also the stove wasn't working property we think as we couldn't get the big burner to work but maybe it is just us too. Like I said overall we loved this hotel and their staff. It is close to the Mall of Emirates which is nice and then the Dubai Metro is right there too. There are plenty of restaurants that are close by too.

Affordable hotel next to Emirates Mall
The receptionist did not expect me as the hotel's reservation system is not synced up with Expedia. I had to wait until they called the reservation office and confirmed my reservation. The room does not have a view at all. Cold/hot water was available at all times. Central AC was super amazing. Clean linens but the towels in the bathroom had stained and I did not bother calling the mail office to complain. The offer free parking with a 24/7 onsite security. The fully equipped kitchen can be used to cook everything.

Great value for money. Good location if you need to be around Mall of the Emirates. No mini-bar. Rooms are huge for the money. The king-sized bed description is actually a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen.

Average hotel
Staff was helpful and kind, but the hotel had a dampness about it that you couldn't escape. Our first room smelled bad and we had to move to another, which wasn't much of an improvement. Price-point isn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend staying here more than a few nights.
