Jun 1, 2026Great location and facilities, the gym especially. Bed very comfortable and good quality toiletries. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was limited (would have been nice to eat together with family in other rooms rather than have the same delivery each morning) and would have made more use of the bar had it been open for a nightcap. Superb welcome by Gary the GM, he's doing good work here!

Jun 24, 2026This lovely older property allows a stay in Toronto that is totally different from a large commercial hotel. It has a small number of rooms and, while set on a busy road approx 700 metres from Union station, was still remarkably quiet at night. The young gentlemen on the reception were absolutely lovely and a credit to their employer; they were always helpful with a genuine smile. On arrival we walked from the train station ( a flat walk of approx 20 minutes) but later realised that the nearest metro connection is only 100 metres away! A lovely room which was immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed. A bottle of water was provided each day. The only downside was that the fixed choice breakfast (any choice of breakfast content was very limited) was served in our room and the room wasnt set up to make this something that added to our stay

Breakfast is described as continental, has to be ordered in advance and is delivered to the room There is limited choice but the items are fresh However it may be helpful to check every evening that the order has been registered and also to remind the staff if it is not delivered at the time requested
If returning late in the evening be aware that it may be some time before the bell is answered
Staff numbers are small but they are always courteous and helpful

It was perfect for our short week-end getaway. Clean room, very chic and quiet environment with a B&B feel but with hotel privacy.
Complementary breakfast was a surprise and they deliver directly to you room at your selected time.
Close walking distance from subway / Queen St. street car.

It is a club and accommodation is in the club’s bedroom suites on the third floor. Very comfortable stay and convenient - short Uber ride to convention center.
The Aesop toiletries elevated the experience.
Special shoutout to Claude - genuine appreciation for his entrepreneurial and engaging approach!
