The location and accommodations were really pretty good overall. The lack of an onsite reception was a bit odd, especially when we couldn’t access our room upon arrival with the code. Upon calling the number, we were told our room was switched last minute. However, when we got into the room, it already had an occupant. They sent their cleaning staff to move things over, but it feels like a big oversight. Otherwise, the place is perfectly barebones and acceptable for anyone not looking to stay somewhere over the top and in a budget.

This was a gem of a find for the price paid for the room. Similar rooms were going for three times more. The room was clean, in a GREAT location, had a kitchen to make breakfast at, and most of all the property managers were helpful and very accommodating to get me into the room quickly and with no hassle, on a booking day almost everything in the city was sold out. Thank you for the great stay!

It was good to find a well located hotel during a busy & expensive time of year. One guest would mark it negatively, reporting their side of the bed badly broken, tilting them to the floor all night, and with very little water pressure in the shower. The other guest, a former NYer, was happier with the hotel.

Room was pleasantly surprising for the price. Great location if that’s your part of town. Extremely clean if a bit worn around the edges. I didn’t experience the noise others mention but that may be because my room was SURPRISE! on the FOURTH FLOOR. I name myself fr not reading it’s a walk up and super glad I was only staying a night without luggage. I can’t imagine having to lug bags up the stairs or actually trying to cook in the room but I’ll put the property on my cheap, quick overnight list.

The location is great and it is walkable to many places. However, it is quite noisy at night, and there were no "free earplugs" that I could find (as stated in the check-in email). Also, there was a smell of sewage when we arrived, which apparently was coming from the basement since they got a lot of water the day before (but it wasn't bad the 2nd day). The kitchenette is nice if you plan to stay "long term", but I was disappointed that there was no complimentary coffee. Also, I would have liked to put a "do not disturb" sign on our door for no cleaning, but there was not one available. Finally, don't expect prompt communication if you are hoping to check-in early. We requested it ahead of time, and did not hear back so we tried out luck and arrived early anyway. If we had known that, we could have stopped somewhere first before coming. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were good, it was clean and had good water pressure, so overall a good experience for us.

The rooms are small but quite efficient. There is kitchenette area. Enough room to walk around the bed and a bathroom. We've stayed there several times and will continue to. Note: we usually face 9th Ave however this last stay we faced 1st and it was terribly loud. The hotel offers ear plugs, which was nice but going forward we will request a room facing 9th!
