Great location!
The room was a little small and a bit run down (furniture falling apart, heater loud and rattling, drafty).
But the staff was very nice and if you’re ok with things that way (and we were) it’s a very good spot.

We stayed for 2 nights and both nights, we didn't get good sleep. The heater in the room was very noisy and the bed wasn't comfortable either.

This was a nice place to stay. Location is great if you like nightlife. The rooms were pretty clean and were comfortable. The price was insane but that's more a function of NyC. Overall I would recommend.

Clean room, spacious for NYC and a very good deal. Great location, near Sub and Bus stations. Great neighborhood. Handy kitchenette, read Amenities carefully- do not go by the pictures. I read reviews that complained about noise-- heads up, if you want a quiet room, go to the mountains. Every place in NYC is noisy. Yes, it is noisy- bring a white noise machine or use the furnished ear plugs. Will definitely stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff available via phone (was tricky finding the place). Location is great for ease of getting around. Clean, though a shower head replacement might help to get some water pressure. Would have loved a coffee maker for the little kitchen.

Love the location, and the hotel itself may be minimal but great value and surprisingly even includes a kitchen.
It basically just feels like a studio in the East Village, which is wonderful to experience.

Although the hotel has no front desk, the check-in process was terrific as they sent emails and texts with information on how to gain access to the hotel and the room. Being in the East Village, the rooms are small but they have everything you need for a stay including a nicely stocked kitchenette! Daily housekeeping is available. And they even supply ear plugs (there was street traffic noise mainly during the day) so I slept soundly! Great spot if you want to be in the East Village area.

It was confusing at first as I had not received the check in email and there is no front desk but very responsive when I called. The room and bed were very comfortable. Street noise but ear pluges provided was a nice touch. Great stay all in all.

We enjoyed our stay at EVH. It was close to our son’s apartment as well as the subway and great restaurants. The area was totally safe and the staff we did see were very friendly. It was nice having a kitchenette. A suggestion would be to provide maybe some paper towels for the kitchen area or more than one kitchen towel.
