Worst experience ever.
Awful. It was brutally loud - windows have zero sound insulation and they have to stay open anyway because there is no A/C. The room was dirty. Got 3 sets of towels for 4 people. No replacement shampoo after 1st day. Neighbourhood is terrible. Just an awful experience.

Nice hotel, ok location.
Went to see a concert in Victoria Park so the location was fine relative to that. Tower hamlets is of course not the most brilliant Burrough of London but the hotel is not far from the river and the Narrow and the canal so that is something. Staff is friendly and allowed us to take a bigger and brighter room. Bed is fine and if you are lucky you get quite a view. The breakfast place next to the hotel is quite good.

Good value for money accommodation
Good value for money accommodation which was clean and well equipped (although it was missing an iron) good WiFi too.

Serviceable but location is scary at night
Does the job, nice flat, close to station... but VERY dodgy area. I was walking nearby to find food late at night, and there were very unsavoury, dodgy characters hanging outside late night off licenses, looking at me with malicious intentions (one was actually clicking and whistling at me). Shame because the place was actually decent.
