Stay Alfred SoBro, Nashville

Excellent location, a short walk to Broadway. Nice large unit, really comfortable bed, clean with everything you’d need. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location.

Nashville has this draw that you just can't stay away from for any length of time. The SoBro Guest House is located conveniently in the heart of downtown Nashville making it easy to walk absolutely everywhere you need to go, whether it is shopping, fitness, dining or nightlife. The Guest House gives you the space to make you feel like you live there and all of the conveniences of home.

It was our first time visiting Nashville and knew we want to do it in style. The So Bro Guest House offered us our own apartment style accommodations right Downtown. You can literally walk anywhere from here. No car required.

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. There were big dumpster right outside our window and people were throwing stuff and digging through it all night. The walls and floors have absolutely no insulation... You can hear everything. It sounded like there was an elephant wearing tap shoes above us. We got no sleep and to top it off, we had NO HOT WATER. What hotel in a major US city doesn't have hot water? We tried to get ahold of Stay Alfred multiple time with no success. I contacted Hotels.Com to try and get a solution but they were extremely unhelpful. Their only solution was for me to purchase and move hotels for our remaining nights. I have filed two complaints now with the Billing department AND the marketing/sales team but have never received an email or a call to rectify. Absolutely the worst service I've had. It's so disappointing to be a loyal gold member and not get any help.

The room was great. It had everything we could need. Very clean. The only reason that this was not a five star review is that I never once could get ahold of anyone for help locating our access codes. I left voicemails, emails, tried online chats, and stayed on hold with their 24 hour contact number for almost an hour. I was finally able to access the codes to be let in through their app. It would have been great knowing this ahead of time, but there is no mention of this on their website or check-in instructions. We sat in the car for 2 hours attempting to figure out how to get in. Once we finally managed to get that figured out, everything else was great.

The amenities within the apartment were fantastic, and the location was perfect for where I was going. However, the floorboards leaked water in the kitchen every time I walked into it, and I noticed after the tornado it got even worse. I wasn't sure how to stop or fix it, since it seemed like it was coming from a pipeline or plumming issue that was behind a locked cabinet next to the bathroom. As a result, anytime I cooked or wanted to watch TV in the living room, I had to wear my tennis shoes so my socks and feet did not get wet. Parking and self check-in and out was easy and able to do.

Everything was great. I just wanted to address a few things that were damaged upon arrival. I took pictures but wasn’t sure where to send them. The tile in the bathroom doorway was unglued and the track that holds the shower doors in place at the bottom was missing. Other than that the room was perfect!

I was worried about checking in with a code, but it was very easy.The bed was very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc. The living room was a little sparse and the bathroom was a bit dreary. The location is great for Nashville tourism.
