Older Hotel/Motel in Blackpool, UK
Craig-Y-Don is an older motel/hotel. There is no air conditioning which made sleeping very uncomfortable for the time of year we visited (Early September).

Had a lovely stay. Staff very pleasant and courteous. Would have appreciated choice of heating in bedroom as it was very wet outside and felt cold coming in. Mattress a bit lumpy in Room 21.

We had a good stay here the hotel is really nice rooms nice good breakfast not a bad word to say really the only suggestion would be to have toiletries in bathroom as there was no soap to wash your hands but thanks for a great stay we will be back.

Average seaside hotel without the promised parking
The big problem was that the advertisement said that parking was available when it was not. No on site parking and the street parking that I was refered to by reception was full and any restricted to half an hour! They gaveinformation on expensive car parks whicch would have made my stay more expensive than in better hotels with parking. Even the hotel next door offered secure on site parking. As I am in my late seventies I had to park illegally to unload and load and walk to a long way to find somewhere to leave my car which left me exhausted. Also there was no bath plug or soap in te bathroom and the bathroom floor was extremely squeeky. Otherwise what you would expect for the price.

This is the first time we have stayed at the hotel and we will definitely be returning. The location is great. All the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was fab and set you up for the day. The evening entertainment for the adults and kids was excellent. Our grandchildren have loved their stay and did not want to leave. My grandson loves the bingo and gets very excited when you get down to one number. The family room was a great size with plenty of wardrobe space and storage. We all really enjoyed our stay.
