I arrived for breakfast 5 minutes after it closed, (door was closed and locked) thinking I still had 5 minutes (because the clock in our room was wrong), I went to the front desk and saw that I was in fact late and was about to just walk away when the staff member asked me what I needed. He walked me to the breakfast room and let me in so I could eat. I thought that was great service."

"Room was clean, quiet and spacious. It had everything we needed and staff were friendly at the check-in desk. We found the grounds to be very dark . My only suggestion would be to upgrade the pathway lighting for safety and to make it easier to find your room at night especially in winter when it is dark by 5:00. Lovely stay otherwise."

The rooms are very modern, the hotel has a very retro beachy vibe, and the restaurant is among the best in Parksville. Try the Fisherman's Chowder. Unreal. "
