Jeonpo Café Street covers the area around Jeonpo Catholic Church near Dongcheon-ro. As the name suggests, there’s a drove of cafés, each with its own theme and personality. You’ll feel good just by passing by these rather photogenic storefronts. This area is home to frequent cultural events sought out by many visitors. A coffee-themed festival takes place in spring, while autumn showcases colourful fall foliage during the ginkgo festival. There’s nothing quite as romantic as walking through Jeonpo Café Street and taking in the scent of coffee wafting in the air.

Sujeong (Jeongrangak) was once an upscale Japanese-style house built in 1943, during the Japanese colonial rule in Korea. Originally closed to the public, the house was designated as a Cultural Property in 2007. It now operates as a traditional teahouse on the 1st floor and guesthouse on the 2nd floor. The beautiful architecture provides great photo-taking opportunities at every turn, making you feel like the star of your very own film – Sujeong was featured in the 2017 Korean fantasy series, Hwayuki/A Korean Odyssey.
