Ibagu means ‘story’ in the Gyeongsang Province dialect. While there are many Ibagu streets around the city, Choryang Ibagu-gil, located closest to Busan Station, is the most famous. It's especially unique because you can find many historic spots that appear to have been taken from the pages of history books.
Pass Texas Street is a multicultural street where Chinatown festivals take place. You can climb the steep 168-step stairway and be rewarded with spectacular views. There are lots of places to eat and various attractions hidden along Choryang Ibagu-gil, so refer to a guide map to avoid getting lost.

Jeonpo Café Street covers the area around Jeonpo Catholic Church near Dongcheon-ro. As the name suggests, there’s a drove of cafés, each with its own theme and personality. You’ll feel good just by passing by these rather photogenic storefronts. This area is home to frequent cultural events sought out by many visitors. A coffee-themed festival takes place in spring, while autumn showcases colourful fall foliage during the ginkgo festival.
