Alive Museum Jeju is dedicated to the bizarre art of optical illusions. You might feel like a giant as you move through weirdly proportioned rooms with 3D art that makes creative use of light and wind. See paintings jump out of their frames and stand on a rope bridge over a towering canyon.

The ‘koji’ in the name Seopjikoji Beach is Jeju dialect for ‘cape’, or pointed land that protrudes into the sea. The Teddy Bear Museum is easy to reach via public transport and relatively close to the airport. Historical events, films, and more have been reproduced with cute teddy bears, making for charming interpretations. You’ll find yourself endlessly guessing and chatting about the scenes on display.

Saryeoni Forest Path, which starts at the entrance to the Bulgeun Oreum Natural Recreation Forest, is about 15 km long, so comfortable clothes and shoes are highly recommended. Its total length may feel a bit daunting, but the path is divided into sections, so you can break up your walk into digestible pieces. 

It’s a great place to spend some quality time with your loved ones, especially if you have an active child who loves the outdoors.

Ecoland is a theme park where you can revel in the nature of Jeju on a scaled-down train. The wonderful scenery and unique atmosphere are ready to satisfy all visitors. The train ride is exciting enough, but the charming sculptures and exotic buildings arranged harmoniously with nature will make you feel as if you’ve been transported into a fairy tale. 

In summer, you can ride on bumper boats for a fun summer break.

The Citrus Museum is home to exhibits related to the ecology of mandarin oranges, with exhibitions dedicated to many varieties, roots, and related products. It’s a surprisingly educational experience! You can find a reproduction of a traditional Jeju house on the second floor, and if you visit during the mandarin orange season, you can experience orange picking. 

It’s a highly recommended family tourist spot. Views from the surroundings are also excellent, so you can relax and take in the scenery from the second-floor café.
