What happened to the hotel bar???
Bathroom sink did not drain and dirt or rust came out when it finally did drain.
Curious pub (the only hotel bar open) had no beers available.

great for quick overnight
The hotel is functional and great for a short overnight stay it is a little tired and there is an issue for access to the 1st floor which houses the bar and restaurant as this is not served by the lift - I was pre warned about this but as I did not require either during my stay it was not an issue
The bed was lovely and comfortable and provided a great sleep - the bathroom was clean and functional but there was minor damage
The room also had air conditioning and heating although I found getting it balanced took a while

Disappointed overall
Check in process was quick and easy. The room was small for a double and due to the age of the building the floors were very uneven (2"different in height from one end of the room to the other).
The main issue was the secondary window was broken so the noise from adjoining bars was audible. You could see from the damage that this had happened some time ago and the failure to repair caused a loss of sleep. There was a visible hole in the carpet which you would not expect from a boutique hotel.

Loud and no sleep
Awful. Thought I’d book something a bit nicer than budget hotel but no idea this was above a nightclub! Pumping music until late and they even give you ear plugs! Then, woken early by scaffolders throwing poles and shouting. The room was musty and at a slope so felt out of sync all night. Terrible sleep.

Very poor rooms.
Hotel is situated in a great position right in the middle of the city center. We had a fridge with water, couple of cans of pop and a espresso machine. But is very tired and dated. We had a privilege room but wouldn't call it one, carpet looked like something had nibnked on it. Same with the sresding table. Curtains had a stain at the bottom. The corner of the walls were all bashed.we were woken very early with scaffolding being taken down.onlt stayed one night.wouldn't stay again unless uodated.

Avoid if you can
A really run down hotel, bathroom bin was not emptied and the shower door was broken. Breakfast was poor and not worth the money, better options around the hotel.

Lovely stay spoilt by late night noise
Good central location in Nottingham City Centre. Nice welcome and excellent breakfast with helpful staff. Room was clean with adequate facilities. My only criticism was the noise created by the night club which went on until 2am, I can see why ear plugs were provided!

Room so small I expected to see Harry Potter
The room was tiny (not like any of the photos used on the listing). I couldn't actually sit on the toilet as the gap between the front of the bowl and the wall was only 6 inches!!!! Utterly ridiculous. And there was only 1 towel.
Great location and nice bar downstairs.

Good location but noisy
Location excellent, slap bang in the city centre. Parking a 2 minute walk from the hotel but not enough information on the website. Reception staff helpful and moved us to another room when we complained about the noise. The noise was an issue, as its a central hotel it was incredibly noisy, we were above a club but even when we moved to another room we could still hear the street noise. If you're looking for a quiet weekend away this isn't the hotel for you, however, if you want to be in the middle of everything then great location

We stayed in room 205 which was the Prestigious King Sized Bedroom
The pictures that you see when booking this room are nothing like the room you get, nothing on the walls, very big blank empty room, the floors are uneven so almost tilting in the room at all times, I wouldnt waste your money going for this room, go for the standard
