Great find
The hotel was amazing. Very close to the Vatican. The rooms were great. Very clean and we had a small kitchen attached to ours with fridge and coffee/tea. Staff were very helpful and polite. The roof top terrace was an added bonus and great to sit and have a glass of wine at dusk. Also a good view of the Vatican.

Great Location, Spacious Rooms
We were staying a couple days in Rome after our cruise to see the major sights in Rome. The hotel is literally a just couple minutes walk from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums. It's also fairly close (5-10 minutes) to the Metro and Tram. So, the location was excellent. There are restaurants and shops all around it, so everything you need is within walking distance. The secure hotel entry is very tight as it's just a couple doors wide with a small landing before the spiral staircase. It has the smallest elevator I've ever seen; 1 person with a suitcase and carry-on is all that will fit and you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it. So, not the most convenient access with luggage, but it's workable. We thought the location and price was worth the slight inconvenience. The king size bed (two twins pushed together) was very firm as were the pillows (typical European). Our room had a huge bathroom with separate shower and tub. Romans love their baths. We had a separate kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink and decent counter space, so one could bring back goodies from the restaurants or snack shops. Tile floors throughout, so don't forget your slippers. There's a decent sized closet and tiny safe. Huge mirrors everywhere. Overall, a very nice place, conveniently located and good service. I would definitely stay here again when in Rome.

Fabulous guesthouse
I stayed there this past May & almost don’t want to write a review and share this fabulous little gem! The location is perfect ! Literally right around the corner from the Vatican, so close the Italian army is stationed across the street from the Relais Vatican View. On Sunday you hear the Popes Mass echoing in the distance. I was on their rooftop terrace every night with my wine bottle with the beautiful Vatican in one side & Castle Sant’ Angelo on the other! Just a few feet away via Borgo Pio & fabulous restaurants Rione XIV, Borghiciana Pastifico, Taverna Angelica! My room was amazing! Kitchenette with little refrigerator, espresso maker, hot water kettle (teas) & little cakes to snack on. I was on the 4th floor - but after a few steps there’s a lift. I was traveling solo, staff are on site from 08:00 - 4:00 pm, I felt very safe. Thank you so much Fabio!!! I cam got wait to go back! Fabio was so wonderful Grazie mille!!!

Poor 2.0
Not a hotel
Don’t know why this property is on this website, it is not a hotel, it’s more of a low end apartment. They use angles in the pictures to make the room look bigger, the staff leaves at 4 pm, you have to enter a code to back into the building, the shower had mold around the window, the shower head wasn’t attached properly so water was shooting out of the base of the head and the shower door wasn’t hung properly so the door didn’t close completely, the neighborhood is sketchy and that is coming from someone who grew up in New York and knows bad areas, no breakfast you have to leave the building and go to a bar next door and on top of that you have to pay $10 per person per day. The few good things I can say is that while the guy at the desk was there, he was helpful and from the roof you can see the top of the Vatican.

Beautiful Room, But Noise was Unbearable, Poor Svc
The room itself was beautiful, newly renovated and gorgeous spacious bathroom. The location was great and so close to the Vatican which was nice to be able to take a walk at night. However the noise from the construction right outside our window of our room 204 began at 6:30am and went on and off through the day. It was impossible to sleep. Also in our room I could hear all the noise from the room above including the flushing from the toilet and so forth. We couldn't rest at all otherwise the room itself was nice. The elevator is also tiny and up one flight of stairs which was difficult for many large suitcases. The hotel also arranged a taxi for us to get to the Fiumicino airport and told us it was 48 Euros, and then the driver told us that a reserved taxi is 53 Euros. Be sure to have exact change because Taxis never have change and just keep any amount that you pay over what is owed. The hotel should have told us it was 53 Euros. Also, no tour arrangements were able to be made for us. There is also no breakfast included. I wish we could have a refund for our stay.
