Highly recommended
I have stayed already four or five times at this place before. The location in Trastevere is excellent, people are friendly, the rooms are nicely decorated and quite spacious -- I recommend it.

Fair
Uninspiring experience
The room was perfectly fine (except that the shower strangely appeared to have drywall and not tile) and somewhat clean. But I've stayed elsewhere in Trastavere and this was not a great experience. The hotel required me to specify when I would be in, and when I arrived squarely in the half hour window I said I would arrive the attendant was pretty unpleasant and said "you're lucky I'm here, I was about to leave". It was *very* noisy on the street, until well until 2 in the morning. As it happened, I was able to fall asleep all the same but light sleepers take note.

Very Good
AWESOME LITTLE ROOM IN A BIG CITY!
The property was very well located. My boyfriend was alyrgic to mold which there was plenty of in the bathroom. One night our allergies went crazy. The second night the fire Dept showed up for a drunk tourist staying at the property that locked herself in the bathroom and passed out. Our room was in a hallway right by check in so anyone coming in and out of the property we heard. The location was totally worth it. It was by every great restaurant you could imagine. The AC never really did get the room cool to where we were comfortable sleeping. It was a great place to stay regardless of the problems we had. Very hard to find with your cell phone GPS because all of the buildings are so close. Great stay though!

Don't miss Trastevere!
What a nice surprise! After a last-minute, low-priced reservation my expectations were low. Man, was I wrong! The place goes from classic Trastevere on the outside to modern retro-cine at the front door. Recycled cinema seating in the lobby, museum lighting everywhere and a graffiti Sophia Loren poster above the bed. It's just fun staying in a place with actual style. I arrived on a Sunday night, so check in was done by WhatsApp. That might be a problem for some people, but I'm sure communication via Hotels.com and email would be perfectly adequate as well. There was a guy at the desk in the morning as I ran out the door... The main reason to stay here is the neighborhood. A great launch pad for Rome's sights, but also a delicious enclave and destination unto itself. Great Roman food and gelato and aperitifs and architecture and cathedrals. I've only been there in the "off" season and it's mostly full of Romans of all ages having fun. The party outside can go until 2am. Don't expect much peace and quiet until then, or just enjoy your jetlag and stay out. Or bring some earplugs. Maybe the management should leave some disposable ones on the bed stands on the weekends. Anyway, it was comfortable enough to oversleep and overstay and almost miss my train in the morning... er, afternoon. Well done.

Good
Not so clean, not so great.
Area was a little scary at first, graffiti everywhere. There is a bar located at the front door that gets a little noisy. People party hard here, fun times. Lots of restaurants and bars, good food and drinks. Our room itself was not great. Mold in the shower, dirty drawers, barely functioning dresser, and stains all over the wall in the restroom. Note there are no services in the hotel. There is a public coffee maker and a couple of free coffee pods.
