Beautiful beach
Location is amazing right on a beautiful and quiet beach. That alone is worth the money. Our bungalow was not in the best condition overall and the bathroom had a technical problem, which was not fixed during our stay. But nothing compares to the experience of waking up with the sun rising on the ocean and walking barefoot straight to the beach. Sunbeds and cabanas free for guests. Good restaurants nearby, both on the beach and on the main street. At walking distance from the popular party zone, but far enough not to be bothered by the crowds and noise.

Pleasantly Surprised -- Stay Here If You Can!
I'm so glad I found this place by luck. Nueva Vida is completely different from the monotonous resort / day-club scene that prevails in Tulum. Frankly, the photos and listing here don't do it justice. The grounds and garden setting are fantastic. Each bungalow or room is creative and different. If stairs don't bother you, Estrella del Amanecer (#18) was an excellent choice. The staff were helpful and friendly, sometimes going out of their way to help. Their English was excellent. When I asked how much (a common question in overpriced Tulum) for coconuts they opened for us, the staff member replied "free" when he could have charged. Ricardo at the front desk was especially honest, genuine, and helpful. The generous breakfast is held in a real restaurant -- better than the usual low-effort reception breakfast. The WiFi was fast and reliable in our room. Guests get a large jar of safe drinking water in their rooms refilled daily. Helpful for reducing plastic bottles, although not enough for two people for 24 hours. Daily housekeeping was superb. Shower was surprisingly hot. Mosquitoes are a nuisance after rains -- but that's the price for feeling like you're staying in a jungle! Nueva Vida is -just- far enough from the thumping music that you can still hear it, but I didn't find it annoying. The beach area in front and little cabanas / mattresses were cozy and located away from the crowds. I would 100 percent recommend this romantic place for a stay in Tulum!

A noisy paradise
The beaches of Tulum are one of the most beautiful I ever seen, this hotel, with his cabins blended with the jungle’s coast is very beautiful. It lacks however a bit of love and care. The staff is indifferent to the needs of the guests, and sometimes a bit rude. They offer breakfast with the room but we don’t recommend it, not only bad food but terrible service.

It was amazing. The view from our villa was incredible. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of beach spots for everyone. There was some noise from the clubs in the area but it usually subsided by 10 pm. The included breakfast was adequate. Definitely not wheelchair friendly. There isn’t a lot going on in the area mostly tattoo parlors and pharmacies.

I spent 8 incredible days in a beachfront room, where I woke up each morning to the sound of waves and breathtaking sunrises. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. I loved walking barefoot on the beach every day—it was so serene that leaving the resort was truly difficult. The room was impeccably cleaned daily by a wonderful staff member whose attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The front desk team was also exceptionally accommodating, even offering to store my luggage after check-out so I could enjoy a final stroll along the beach. This resort truly has everything you need for a perfect getaway, and I can’t wait to return again.

We enjoyed sitting on the decking overlooking the beach and the view from the room is also nice. The room was very spacious and we did like the fact the room had a safe and a fridge. Whilst it was a perfectly adequate stay, there was nothing of note that made it feel as special as we had expected. They provided water in a jar, we would have preferred bottled water like most places offer given how unreliable the water can be. The bed sheets and pillow covers had stains on which wasn't very enticing or pleasant. Given this wasn't a cheap stay we had expected more, but somethings felt a little tired. The breakfast option at the restaurant over the road left a lot to be desired, the place gave us the ick as they couldn't seem to cook cnicken/beef on skewers properly and the price of lunch there like everywhere in Tulum was expensive.

The property is very cute, with a relaxed jungle ambiance. The rooms are unique and you feel like you’re one with nature. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to us. The beach is beautiful! Most hotels in Tulum are now loud beach clubs, this is one of the few that is still original in the area and we really liked the peace.
