Where to Go in Daegu at Night?

2. Gyesan Catholic Cathedral

Gyesan Catholic Cathedral was originally built in a traditional Korean style but was rebuilt to its current form in 1902 after it was destroyed by fire. Over 100 years old, this cathedral home to the cathedra for all Daegu-area cathedrals.
The cathedral is the first Gothic cathedral in the area, and its architectural beauty is highlighted subtly at night without the need for special colours. Geundae Alley is nearby, which is great for an evening stroll.

3. Songhae Park

Songhae Park’s Ogyon-ji Pond area has beautiful flowers that are always in bloom, and windmills, wooden decks, and watermills vie for your attention as you walk around. When the sun sets, the ridgeline disappears and only downtown Daegu shines brightly, giving you a unique view. It becomes more beautiful as the night grows darker, so it’s better to go up after sundown rather than waiting for the sun to go down.
