Great family or couples resort
My husband and I stayed here on our way from Colorado to California for a family holiday visit, this was a stopping point to relax and enjoy our drive and not be rushed. This property has everything in one place, so nice and friendly. Gambling was fun and the food and service was wonderful. We didn’t get to go do all the amenities it offers but it is great that there is so much to do other than gambling. Bowling alley, the cinema, the spa/salon and so much more.

Good place to stay
I think the service was very good and they responded quickly to our requests for more towels and to clean the tub's drain of hair. Our room's floor could use a mopping as our white socks soon changed color on the bottom. If you are not seated in the buffet during the discount hours they will not give you the price even if you were wanting in the line to be seated. Pillows were flat and another lumpy but they also bought another to us quickly. Not in taxi zone for airport

Best Vegas Spa Casino Hotel Resort
Comfortable and great service. Variety of dining and all of them had really great food. Casino is clean well attended and I loved the loose slot machines. Spa is the best, beautiful clean and relaxing.

Know what you’re getting
Pros: I ate at the seafood bar and the coffee shop where the service was extremely welcoming. Food was better than expected at both. I had sautéed Chinese broccoli at the coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised by how well executed it was. Usually a menu that includes chop suey discourages me from ordering there. There is a 24 hour Starbucks in the lobby next to the front doors. The bowling alley is a non smoking zone. I had a standard room with a tub which was nice. It seems like most hotels default to showers. Significant negative factors: The hotel reeks of cigarette smoke, even on a non-smoking floor. The walls are extremely thin. There were a number of collegiate or younger sports teams staying there for some event and I was unluckily staying adjacent to a number of rooms occupied by extremely loud young men. The desk is small and the lighting above it is very yellow which doesn’t really make for the best workspace. The hotel feels dated. The south point’s strongest assets are the staff and the restaurants. I needed to be close to my family who live nearby. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t stay there again.
