I recently stayed at The Brondesbury near a month.
Positive side
- Offers some excellent free amenities
- Daily free coffee before 9:30 am was a nice perk, and having access to a free cinema room and gym was a great bonus
- Location of the hotel is also convenient, and the kitchen facilities were good, providing a full set of cooking equipment. However, notice a lingering strong curry/masala smell inside the microwave-oven.
Negative side
- The availability of free or paid latte seemed inconsistent, with milk frequently being out of stock throughout the day.
- Internet situation was particularly frustrating. The Wi-Fi password apparently changed without any notification frustrated me few days, and it took multiple attempts to get the new password (through email), and contradictory information from CS (WhatsApp- told me without changing the password).
- The internet connection was unreliable, frequently dropping out for extended periods (10min to 2hr or whole night), which significantly impacted my ability to attend online meetings/WFH.
- No-internet TV was also useless =D.
- Requesting necessities/cleaning was inconvenient, had to be made via WhatsApp. Toilet paper took +1day and Shampoo refill +2days. But gave shower gel and hand wash, needing further follow-up again.
