The Gateway is a large open-air retail complex centred on the historic Union Pacific Depot, on the west side of Downtown. The multipurpose area has wide walkways, an open plaza with a central fountain and over 80 retail stores.
There’s something for most shopping preferences at The Gateway, with popular stores including Barnes & Noble, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Victoria’s Secret. Gardner Village

Gardner Village is a beautiful outdoor shopping mall inside an old flour-milling site from the 1870s. The historic Gardner Mill still retains original buildings that once housed a blacksmith and mattress factory. Salt Lake City’s monthly Urban Flea Market is a great community outlet for vendors and shoppers to buy and sell vintage, antique and handmade goods. Trolley Square is an enclosed shopping mall housed inside a 1900s trolley car barn east of downtown Salt Lake City. The historic building complex has been transformed into one of the trendiest high-end malls in the area.
