Business Trip Approved
Clean enough. My wife doesn't do budget hotels. This hotel was good enough for a one night stay on a business trip. Strong shower pressure. Clean sheets and super soft oversized pillows.

There are many things about this hotel that ensured we will not be returning. The bathroom was not great-looking (rust and missing tiles in the shower, no shower liner so water got through the curtain and all over the floor). The toiletries were all half used or looked like they had been refilled instead of replaced, including the mouthwash. There was nobody in any uniform to identify who was working. There was nobody to greet us at check in, we had to wait for someone to realize we were there to help us. The parking was valet-only and it was $19. The man parked my car right in front of the lobby, and then immediately asked where his tip was. I have never used valet so I didn't know we were meant to tip, so I went to get cash and then never saw him around the hotel again. We ended up parking on the street and using the meters for the rest of our stay for peace of mind and since it was cheaper. We were only allowed one more blanket and it was very thin. Overall not a good place to stay at but it did the job and we made the best of it anyway.

Stay away
This hotel is a half way house for newly released criminals. The place was filthy and the rooms were in poor condition. I received a refund because I refused to stay there with my family. The hotel was completely misrepresented online and I was so disappointed.

Front desk was not very helpful or informative to answer the questions I had when I checked in. It was fine I was able to figure it out on my own. Also, there was no refrigerator in the room which I had not experienced before. Overall, it served my purpose of a one night stay for a friends wedding which was nearby the hotel.

Staff unresponsive to request for mini fridge. Parking fees charged to my card but someone kept asking me for cash payment-this is recurring problem and owner needs to address--very annoying.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this property. The Building was clean and safe, and I enjoyed the walkability of the surrounding area. A few items kept me from rating this property 5 stars: - The air conditioning unit in the room was giving off a very musty odor while running in cool mode. I’m not sure if this was an older unit or if it hadn’t been serviced in a while, but should definitely be checked out along with all the other AC units in the building. - The bed was comfortable, but the frame and springs were incredibly noisy while getting getting in and out of bed. - The bathroom was extremely cramped and it was difficult to access the tub/shower without hitting the door. - There is a Significant lack of parking for the property and it’s difficult to get in to find a space.

Where do I begin. I booked this hotel blindly months before my stay because it was the most affordable. We were visiting for US open. We had no idea that there was a train perfectly located steps from the hotels front door to get us to the US Open Stadium in about 6 stops. Maddie, at the front desk, is the heart of the hotel and everyone was kind. She just made our stay entirely worth it. We do hope we’ve convinced her to attend US Open next year. I love quaint hotels and Great Neck is such a cute city. I’ll be sure to explore it the next time we come back. Thanks for everything. We couldn’t have guessed better for our time in New York. Our room was very clean and always comfortable. The AC gets really cold. Took the second night for us to figure out we could turn it off. It’s though screen lighting. 😁 Shower water temp is already great. If Maddie is there ask for pizza recs. The smoothie place across the street is the best.

Good not great, location is excellent
Location was ideal and service was kind and accommodating, but it needs a facelift. It’s a bit tired and outdated and warrants a good deep clean. But we slept fine and it served its purpose for our trip for two quick nights.
