Very nice hotel. Recently renovated. Great breakfast and dinner. Just a short walk to the train station with excellent connections to the center of London. We highly recommend it!

Great room, lovely food and setting
A second time at the hotel and first with the pooch. Had a wonderful stay in a lovely and spacious room. I think we had kindly been upgraded to a Luxe room on the ground floor. Waiting for the dog was a comfy bed, bowls and Bramley treats. Lovely amenities in the hotel and perfect for drinks, dinner and a lovely breakfast. Thank you

Perfect stop - great food
Super place for a night before heading into London for a job. I reall surprise. Rooms are well appointed and well executed - staff super friendly and food very good. Such a welcome change from the normal outer London hotel. I hope the high standards continue. Also such a beautiful building - steeped in history.

Great Hotel
This is an excellent hotel which has been newly refurbished beautifully. Rooms are extremely comfortable, quiet and well equipped. The delicious welcome treats and personalised card in the room are a lovely touch. Hotel is in a great location for long walks in the forest or to visit the local shops/restaurants. We didn’t eat at the hotel on this occasion but plan on doing so in the future as dining area looks very inviting. We will be using this hotel on a regular basis as we have family and friends nearby.

Best dog friendly hotel
Most amazing experience, super dog friendly and staff are very welcoming and was very nice and welcoming to my dog. They had a dog menu at the pub which was really nice. The room was so beautiful I wanted to stay longer. The bathroom design is so unique loved it very much. Definitely coming back soon. I had a welcome card and some treats on the desk for me and had a dog package with a really nice shampoo and some dog treats along with a bed and feeding bowls already in the room before I came which made my experience much easier. The air conditioning was one of my favourite things.

Absolutely loved this hotel.
Beautiful touches that made all the difference. Hand written welcone with some aweet treats. Ear plugs and pillow spray were also a welcome addition (albeit being in the middle of a forest wasnt at all noisey) just one niggle, we followed the coffee pod machine instrucrions 3 times, but we still only got hot water. So much tea and coffee in the room, that we were still able to enjoy beverages without being too disappointed with the machine.

Lovely hotel surroundings
A decent stay in wonderful surroundings. Nice room, well stocked with coffee and tea, ironing board etc and bramley shower products. Body lotion would be a touch.
Room was not cleaned but I believe that they usually are.
Late checkout (1 hour) is £25 extra unless you book directly. A little inflexible but maybe that’s me just expecting something for nothing and more a reflection of me than them. Will definitely return.

Beautiful and cosy
Excellent staff, amazing building very well decorated, extremely clean.
Slight issues with the plumbing (not a complaint just a helpful observation) the shower screen was not sufficient, could not adjust shower mixer for cold and the wash hand basin waste wasn’t able to cope with the flow rate from the tap needs to adjust plug.
Also wasn’t able to adjust TV settings.
These are minor teething issues with new fixtures.
Overall we enjoyed a very comfortable stay and would stay again, We shall recommend to friends.
