We needed a quick place to stay overnight, as our connecting flight was the next day. Didn't have time to check reviews and just choose and booked one. They are really just old apartments (think staying with college friend)
Pros: -Melrose Place vibes, rooms surrounding center courtyard
- Hot water
- Polite check in staff
Cons: - Check in happens at a separate location. We were given the address to pick up the keys, but it was the wrong address. Had to call to get correct address.
- Floors FLITHY, took a shower and could feel the grit and dirt on the floor throughout the place. Had to wipe off before bed and again before putting on socks/shoes
- Bed overly soft, no real bedding, dirty duvet, grimy mattress with flat sheet covering. Not even a fitted sheet.
- Towels grey and crunchy. Only 2 bath towels, no hand towels or washcloths.
Bathtub, painted over with chips and peeling paint.
- Full kitchenette, but not even a tissue or roll of paper towels to wipe up anything.
- Final straw - a guy barges in at approx 9:30am and stands there and proceeds to state he was told we checked out. Has full conversation with hubby with the door wide open as we are trying to get ready. No knock, no apology, just that the office told him we checked out. At 9:30???? We checked in at midnight! And shouldn't there always be a courtesy knock and wait?
We're pretty easy going, but this place just sucks! Never again.
