The resort is huge and well managed. They have the only natural pool as they have their own source of spring water. The restaurant is big and the food is of high quality. They have a Starbucks, which in my opinion is not necessary. They care so much about their traditions and the planet, No plasticware, it is awesome.

Beautiful property however the room had termites right on top of the bed. Also some of the servers were super late with our food( it would take 1hr and a half from when we ordered to get our food) meanwhile most other families got their food in 30 minutes

Beautiful resort but restaurant needs attention.
We spent 3 nights and Chan-Kah and enjoyed the sites of Palenque and ending the day relaxing around the beautiful pool. My only disappointmennt was the limited menu at the restaurant along with the quality of the food. The lunch menu was the same as the dinner menu and really only had a standard European European selection. In our opinion the restaurant has considerable room for improvement.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms in the hot humid jungle are air conditioned and impeccably maintained. The food quality is good enough, lacking in local pride though. There should be more showcasing Mayan ingredients and Mayan cuisine. That’s why everyone goes to this part of the world. To learn the culture. Likewise, music played should be local music, not Miley Cyrus, liver her though I do. Play Mexican music . Chiapas music. Mayan music. Pool is warm to hot but clean. Grounds are stunning and exceptionally well maintained. Staff and service excellent. Howler monkeys chant at dawn and dusk. The blues are clearly older than we think.

Beautiful place to stay
This is a beautiful hotel, it is actually individual cabins in the jungle, with amazing gardens, a beautiful pool and it’s minutes away from restaurants, the town and the archeological park.

All the hotel staff forgot to smile,
Service in the restaurante area was not as expected. And during check out I was charged 60 pesos for a facial towel that had some Makeup, saying to me that it was ruined!! They had not even washed it. Who can VIP property make that king of charges to a guest?

This resort is really nice the pool is amazing overall super clean and well maintain great hotel but there is always a but, there is only one restaurant and nothing else this restaurant is a bit pricey and since there is nothing in the immediate surroundings you are pretty much force to eat there also they have Starbucks just as expensive. Another thing I didn’t like a to all is that you have to bring your pool towels to switch for new ones but the last time I did so my daughter was still swimming so I couldn’t bring the last so they held my ID Hostage until I bring it back not happy with that.
