We came to this hotel because I surprised my wife with a complete spa day for her. Her first appointment was at 10am. I the when the front desk to see if our room was ready with zero expectation of it been done. The young lady said ( as I expected) that it wasn’t. I kindly told her that my wife had several appointments at spa all day and I can go swimming why she is there. She quickly answered no. To my disbelieve, I told her that we are spending well over $1,200 and I can’t go swimming. That is crazy! I told her that she should ask the mgr. She said that is that is the rule. Then I said “then I want to speak to the mgr”. At her return, she said that there was a room available on the first floor and I was interested in it. She said that it the same room but in the first floor.
Why wasn’t this offered in the first place. Why would stress out the situation when we are here for a stress free weekend. In my opinion even if there were no room available, and because we had a room booked fir the evening, she should have given us a temporarily key card for the pool.
I should have had this frustration.
Other than that, my wife enjoyed the spa, I enjoyed the pool, the room was fantastic etc…
