The heater wasn't working so the evening and night were very cold and unpleasant. Staff changed my room and tried to find a solution - which I appreciated - but unfortunately, no heaters were working.

Ok room... if you don’t require hot water.
Had to check-in at another building, 100 yards down the road. Was moved to yet another building, but this time only next door. Seems to be a number of chains buying up and converting townhouses and consolidating the admin facilities. Got to my room and found it clean and relatively comfortable. Wanted a shower before bed after a long day at work. No hot water, so couldn’t get a shower. Had to use water from the kettle in order to have a wash. Same situation in the morning so not at all pleased.

The guy on reception was not interested in being there, he did not even look up once when booking me in and even stopped halfway through to look at his instagram account. TV remote not working so that was the same as every other hotel on the planet.

Decent value
As other travelers mentioned, we did not receive a room in the hotel we booked on Given the hotels (rather, they are row houses converted to hotels) were nearby and seemed similar, we did not complain. The hotel has breakfast daily, which is good. The timing of 7:30-9 was a bit early given we had traveled from a different time zone, but we managed most days. The hotel is near to a bus stop and about 10 minutes walking from the Hammersmith tube station, so convenient to travel. The WiFi was generally good. The rooms are small as others have noted and not "luxury" - the mattresses/pillows are thin. It's also in a noisy area, even if in the back, so if during warmer months you might have to choose between keeping the windows open and tolerate the noise, or close the windows and tolerate a fan only. The toiletries were ok, again not luxury. I would stay here again if needed - for the price it's not a bad value - but I would definitely be open to other options next time in London.

Unhygenic beds, Fleas/Bedbug.
The room was exactly what I was expecting, no frills, tv, bed, kettle, relatively modern. After sleeping on first night, my body was covered in bites, these lasted for nearly a week and I had to visit an NHS walk-in centre for treatment, losing half a days pay at work. I was advised to dispose of my suitcase and all the fabric contents. They were assumed to be flea/bed bug bites. The top sheets on the bed were clean but the mattess protector underneath looked to have never been washed, it had numerous urine stains and lots of tiny black pepper looking grains, these turned out to be the feaces of what was biting me. The receptionist didnt seem to care too much and said he would need to speak to the manager the following day. We were moved rooms twice for the same thing, dirty beds. We ended up checking out early. No offer was made to refund or cover the expense of replacement clothes and suitcase. I was very apalled, avoid if you can.

Would not stay again.
We were underwhelmed. We had one address for the office, walked with our luggage from the Underground there, was sent to a second address, and our rooms were still another building down the street. Maybe its because we were exhausted, but felt ignored and unwelcome when we got to the office to check in, and stood waiting for ten minutes while the office tech struggled to download episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond. I wish I was kidding. The room could have been great- a double bed and 2 twin beds, but they were soooooo creaky and uncomfortable, and their were ambulance and police sirens ALL NIGHT LONG, every night. A positive-- A simple breakfast was cooked by really friendly ladies every morning. We really appreciated them!!
