6/10 Okay
"Ok hotel. Staff friendly. Loft room maybe not for everyone, about 15 stairs up to bed. Bathroom on main level of loft room. Had a not pleasant scent in room, and halls. Fairly budget hotel, with the attached to wall shampoo/conditioner. Biggest complaint, lack of sneeze guard protection on some breakfast foods. Big bowls of open yogurt, open bowls of jams, honey, open cut fruit. Aren't the containers supposed to have protection from contamination? After our group contracted Noro virus in Victoria on our trip - from an unknown source - these type of potential food safety issues are of concern to me. Not saying we got Noro there, but it didn't make me want to eat the food, handled by many hands, not those dishes without covers. Hot dishes did have lids, covered. Older hotel. Great location. Construction across street, did hear. Beautiful garden in sister hotel yard. Pretty eating area with.stained glass windows."
