We stayed at the Paradisus Cancun resort and it was amazing. From the wonderful staff at the pool bar - Mitchel, Carlos, Juan and Isaie - kept our cups filled to the awesome entertainment at night by Giovanni (he is a vibe :), to the relaxing spa treatment with Ruth who was so accommodating and Daniela who gave the best 75minute massage to our concierge Carlos and newbie Jefferson to the front desk staff Janet. It was a perfect vacation for my family. Will definitely go again!

The concierge Omar was excellent. What stood out most about Omar was his personalized approach—they remembered our preferences and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Omar’s knowledge of the resort and surrounding area was impressive, and they offered great suggestions that made our trip even more memorable. Communication was always prompt, whether in person or via phone/message, which made planning incredibly convenient. Overall, the concierge service specially Omar exceeded expectations and played a huge role in making our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. Overall we had a great trip at Paradisus, especially considering the resort had only been reopened for a few days. What we liked: the inside of the resort is beautiful and looks even better at night. The pool is enormous and never felt crowded, even when activities were ongoing. The beach runs the full length of the property, with ample space to enjoy either the sand or sea. The staff were courteous and quick to respond to any requests. Extra credit to the pool bar bartenders who gave equal attention to kids and adults. Our kids loved swimming up and having a frozen drink in their hands in just a few minutes. All of the pool chairs having cushioning was a huge plus, these were some of the most comfortable loungers we’ve experienced anywhere. What we’d change: the pool chair “reservations” of early risers taking chairs with only towels early in the morning meant few, if any chairs were available by 10am. Fortunately I’m an early riser and was able to reserve as well, but wish there was a more equitable system/policy that lets late sleepers or afternoon arrivals a place to settle. The food is only ok, not great. Fresh sliced tacos were very enjoyable, but everything else was only so-so. it seemed like the buffet needed more frequent replenishment; I assume this will get better as staffing levels reach normal operating capacity. We ate at capella, blue agave and zesty - we liked blue agave the most, the others were kind of like the buffet, ok but not great.

The amazing staff and the beautiful property. The views of the ocean are stunning, and the pools are great, with plenty of options to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I would like to give a special mention to Alica, the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful. I faced a few issues with my room and some situations during our stay, but she handled everything with respect and understanding. The team acknowledged the concerns and genuinely tried their best to resolve them, which I really appreciated. That said, there are a few areas where improvement is needed. Some of the rules regarding the Bali bed were not clearly explained, which led to confusion. The concierge service could also be more proactive and knowledgeable for families to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth. Regarding the catering, I believe there is definitely room for improvement. My expectations for the meals were higher, as the food was generally just average. The temperature of the dishes was not always consistent, and at the omelet station, the same oil seemed to be reused, with omelets sometimes coming out dry. The level of professionalism among some of the kitchen staff could also be improved. Additionally, the spa prices felt unnecessarily high even expensive that Us and did not quite make sense compared to the overall experience other places!!!. This is definitely an area the resort should review and improve to better match guest expectations.

The rooms were clean and the property is nice. The staff was not helpful at all and didn’t seem to know what they are doing. The food was not that good and all the restaurants required reservations and it was hard to get into any of them. The reservation system they have does not work. We spent 6 nights and 3 out of 6 nights we had to go to the buffet because we were told that we did not have a reservation although the concierge had told us the reservation was made. The shuttles to the airport requires a reservation as well ahead of time which we did not know about.

I would give 5 stars for the coffee shop staff—Rosalia, Perla, and Alejandro. Anna too from the pool area. They are incredibly warm, welcoming, and personable. I truly wish all staff were trained like them. However, the buffet service needs improvement. One staff member did not offer us drinks because we no longer had our bracelets, even though we explained that we had day pass cards and could still access amenities on our checkout day until 2 pm. It seems some staff are not familiar with this policy, and unfortunately, our table was left unattended. We repeatedly asked for water but were not assisted. Additionally, the check-in process took almost an hour. There appeared to be many new staff members who were frequently asking each other questions, which caused delays. Aside from these issues, we really liked the hotel. It’s a great place for families.

Ya me había hospedado hace 2 años en este hotel. La verdad me gustó la primera ya que tenían un lindo restaurante de mariscos con vista al mar el cual ya no lo utilizan para mariscos. En general está bien falta que conserven la calidad de los alimentos y mejorar la calidad de los licores. Falta más ambiente ya que se siente frío el hotel

Paradisus Is a resort I am okay not visiting again. We had a lot of issues. First off, it’s extremely hot inside the hotel (lobby, dining areas in our rooms). The AC would not go below 68 degrees in our rooms. We would wake up sweating. Also, the kids zone was never open which was disappointing to our children. Also, the dining options weren’t that great. Food had no taste or flavor.

El personal Excelente. El bar tender Luis y su compañero súper atentos y en general el personal súper amable La habitación nos hacían la limpieza súper. Solamente nunca nos surtieron el mini bar de la habitación en el tiempo de nuestra estancia. Los restaurantes y la comida súper !!
