Amazing hotel, definetly recommend
Staff are super friendly, especially Daniel is the best! Great rooms, amazing pool and beach, abd te restaurant is super good. We can't wait to come back. Only disadvantage is it's kind of far from the center area. But a taxi there only cost us 4$ every night to go out.

8/10 Very good

A pretty chill resort
We decided to do a big trip for our 10-year wedding anniversary. Cancun seemed a little too young of a crowd for us, but we may have over-corrected with Isla Mujeres... a little too chill for us even. The Izla Hotel was great for the price. This having been our first trip out of country, we honestly cannot make a fair assessment of the resort. The staff were very nice and helpful. They seemed to really focus on cleanliness, which is always good. Oh, the drinks were surprisingly affordable for a resort. Drinks are charged to your room and you pay for everything when you check out... we though we racked up about $1K USD, but turned out to be a little under $200 USD. For our room, we had breakfast and dinner included. The food was above-average, but got old after a few days because the menu never changed. I would recommend this hotel for those wanting a quiet, relaxing, affordable getaway.
One of the rooms with a private pool. It's not a hot tub... so, prepare your mindset before jumping in.
The view from the bed.
Hammocks in the water in front of the hotel
The main pool, looking towards the water. Anyone can use those beds... we though they were extra, but no.

Good...not Great!
The hotel was nice and clean. Had everything we needed...comfy bed, daily cleaning services, nice pool, beachside. We prefer staying on the north end of town though, closer to restuarants and better beaches. Otherwise, you're traveling 10 minutes each way, longer if there's more traffic. The beach here was ok'ish...Rocky, Mucky, Shallow. We rarely stayed at the hotel since we traveled to North Beach most of time. We had 1 drink here, which was just ok. We called room service each morning, which was just ok. There was a yacht parked right outside our window and they partied till late in the night the first night we got there, and the hotel next door had a poolside jam session till late the last night we were there. If we had young children with us, this would have really upset me. Other than that, it was nice. I would stay here again if I had my kiddos, otherwise, I'd stay at North Beach for the convenience.

Great Stay, Highly Recommend!
We loved it here and didn’t want to leave. Tried extending our stay here, but they were completely booked. We stayed here 4 nights in February 2022 and had a great time. I loved the roof top pool and bar. They didn’t have Tito’s at the time but neither did most of the island and Cancun. There is a supply issue. Not the hotels fault. Just be aware that the hallway can get a bit noisy in the mornings when everyone is getting up and getting moving along with staff coming in and getting started. It’s not a big deal and happens everywhere. Would completely recommend this hotel. If you have the choice of here or Hotel Belo, stay here! Belo was gross and the manager over there is even more ridiculous! Hotel Izla has it all. It’s pretty quiet, relaxing, not a lot going on when we were there. The view is spectacular on a clear day. Can see Cancun day and night. Gorgeous. The rooms are clean, plenty of towels are given. Spacious! We will be back to stay with them again. Love that it’s close to Isla Animals, Ice Bar, turtles, and dolphin discovery. Have a blast, get a cart and enjoy yourselves.
