Could not get into restaurants any of the days. Asked to pay more to upgrade, had to wait 3 days, and I stayed for 4 days. Food was not good, not hot, not flavourful. All the chairs were reserved before 8am

Romantic vacation away from winter.
We were on the priviledged romance package and really enjoyed the resort… staff are amazing, the privileged pool and beach were wonderful. Our room was spacious and cleaned daily. We had a balcony off the bedroom and then a furnished patio looking out over the main pool area with ocean views. The minor negatives are that the a la carte reservation system isn’t the greatest and they will up within minutes of being available at 8am. And our fridge didn’t work properly causing beverages to be warm. But overall we had a wonderful trip and will be back again.

The staff at the Catalonia are so kind & giving. There are a lot of changes over the last yr with the separation of the Yukatan & Riviera. Some good, some not so great. The owners need to give the staff better conditions to work with so the they can better help the customers. Mostly the bookings of the restaurants. I witnessed more people verbally abusing the staff at the service desk because of the constant issues with the app/ internet. They do not deserve that.

Had a wonderful weeks stay. Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable & very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is amazing & responsive. We had a small issue with our AC & maintenance was there within minutes to fix it. We enjoyed the buffets & restaurants with BLoved restaurant being our favourite. The tuna was very good. The grounds are very well kept & walkable. The beach is rocky but just bring water shoes & enjoy the snorkling. Luz at the front desk made check in quick & easy. We will definitely return & stay longer.

I liked almost everything. The hotel, the territory, the food, the pools, the first line, entertainment, the spa, and the opportunity to use the VIP bar and VIP areas. The room was cleaned every day. The only downside I would highlight is that you had to go from the pool to the toilet trough the snack bar, which is inconvenient. And there are no special activities or people near the pools which can play or draw with children in case the children get bored, and the parents want to swim. These are my personal preferences. Everything else was at a height of 10 out of 10

Everything was great. The staff is very friendly, fast and helpful. The food was pretty good, drinks too. The facility is nice and clean. The only thing for me to complain is that the gym was closed. For us that workout everyday this is an inconvenience, but other than that everything was great.
