Fue muuuuuy tardado el proceso de registro al hotel. La habitaciones requieren de mantenimiento y el pecoso de salida también es un tacto engorroso. Not what I expected.
I reserved a king bed and got there early to make sure I had the request fulfilled Meanwhile I noticed and confirmed with staff that hotel was only at 30% occupancy so I was sure our request was a certainty but as we checked in we were denied that option. Very disappointed

We had a good stay at this property. I would recommend for upbeat vibes and friendly staff. The resort activities were limited for a couple of days due to the hurricane, yet they still tried to make everyone comfortable and entertained to the best of their ability. The elevators did go down and that was a huge inconvenience having one or two elevators working with the high occupancy that they have. The food is decent, I feel it could be better, but again, you have to know what you want out of a resort. The atmosphere is fun, the rooms could use a tune up, you can walk to the strip (use caution). The constant upselling of things at the resort is a bit annoying but it’s literally everywhere you go in Mexico, everyone is trying to profit. Overall, would stay again because I pretty much know the hotel but I’d like to explore more luxury properties.

The property is beautiful! Staff is amazing especially my butler Ricardo. Food was good. Since I purchased the Diamond Club package I wish they told us where we could get the premium liquor on the resort. We didn’t have any water on our 2nd day and part of the 3rd day. I understand things happen but it definitely wasn’t the best experience. Overall I probably would give the resort another shot.

The Royalton Chic Cancún was a nice resort over all. We came the week after Labor Day so I believe a lot of the activities were done the weekend before because there wasn’t much activity offered. The food was average resort food with some stuff better than the other. The rooms are modern but could use a deeper cleaning and the mildew smell was the worse. I got home and my stuff had the mildew smell. Also the restaurants and lobby area was very warm like they didn’t have air in that area and yes I know the doors stay open a lot but I’ve been to other resorts and it didn’t feel like that in those areas even with the doors open. Overall it’s a nice resort for any age located close/walking distance to alot of things. I probably wouldn’t stay again but I would tell others to give it a try.
