so many good things to say, but the staff are what make this place so great.
let’s start with our butler, Miguel. so friendly and personable. my partner and i came to celebrate our birthdays which happen to fall a day apart. miguel went above and beyond to make our days special - one of which he was not even on site for. miguel was prompt to answer any and all questions/requests. if we come back we will request him for sure.
yolanda the beach side waitress was also a stand out for our trip. she was so nice and funny and seemed happy to be there and help. was sad to say goodbye!!
we ate at the oriental restaurant a few times but the hibachi table was the highlight. gustavo was AMAZING. the best hibachi experience i’ve ever had and i come from a large city.
the last standout i’ll mention is Fermin (spell check) who works the omelette station at the breakfast buffet. he was amazing. the best smile. remembered us and our order each time. and we as just so kind and good at his job.
the food was pretty good overall, some of the restaurants aren’t currently open but i assume due to season and construction. there was only one pool open which didn’t bother us as we came to see the ocean but that is good info for people to have prior to coming.
the property was clean. the room service incredible rooms cleaned before 8:30 am each day.
i will say the only downside of the resort was the number of merchant vendors walking the beach and hiding from police in our villa walkways
